Passion Is So Important It Needs Its Own Post
This is not me trying to float some hippy-dippy feel-good new-age stuff off as business knowledge. Ever hear the adage “Love what you do and you will never work a day in your life.”? These words are so true they should be carved into stone. There is a reason why few are successful, and many have failed.
Everything I offer is based on passion. The freedom I felt building an internet-based income, well the freedom I still feel is completely amazing. I have become extremely passionate about showing others how I have achieved this. So much so that I built a website dedicated to building an income on the internet.
Traffic Leads To Income
This is my absolute passion. Regardless of how amazing your program or product is, without traffic, you will not succeed. Ever hear people go on about the early days of Internet Marketing and how much easier it was to make regular sales?
Do not drink the cool-aid because sales of any kind in any era have always been hard. Especially if you are a shy person trying to run down the opportunity that will make you rich. Hype and FOMO go hand in hand with getting people to sign up for something they may not really want but the enticement to finally make a full-time income with part-time hours is too much to pass on.
This Is Why "Sales" Gets a Bad Rap
We fell for the pitch and opted in to a program without really understanding the product, we were focused on the income opportunity. This is the sticky bit, being so focused on the income we in turn recruit some of our friends so that we can make a bit and our friends make a bit, but no one is passionate.
This will make our sales effort feel cheap and dirty. Making sales is kind of like dating if you look at all of the moving parts. In order to get a date you need to get to know the person a bit and they need to get to know you as well. Notice regardless of how nervous you are, you never have the feeling that you are bothering the person you are trying to date.
This is Where Passion Really Counts
It is not confidence that wins a date or a sale it is all about passion. Passion is very infectious, the more passionate you are the more like-minded people you will attract. Nobody wants to date a person that is without passion, this is boring, and we hate to be bored. I have been around the block and I have known some couples that ended their relationship in favor of another just to break up the boredom.
The purpose of this article is to sell you the reader the fact that without passion it is impossible to build any business regardless of how easy. No passion no business, no passion no relationship. You may need to evaluate your business actions to be sure that you are passionate about what you do. If you are, then sales of any kind will become as easy for you as it is for me.
