We All Have Dreams
Ever have someone preach lifestyle to you? It can get pretty annoying especially if they are relentless about it. Maybe they are compensating for something; I have no idea. How about someone pestering you with “are you all in?” (This is a pressure tactic) The Lifestyle tactic is breaking you down by attacking your lifestyle and trying to convince you that where you are at now is not good enough. The All In tactic is a high-pressure technique trying to activate your fear of missing out.
Fear of missing out is a powerful tactic that dates back to when if a person missed out, that was it, death was coming for them. Considering we have about a million years’ worth of evolution hard wiring us with the FOMO (fear of missing out) equals death. I prefer to advertise by example and if someone wants to achieve a similar goal we might be able to help each other out.
Ever Dream of Season Tickets?
This applies to all sports and any events or theme parks that have Season Tickets or Passes. Personally, I am a Football fan, and season tickets to the Pittsburgh Steelers have always been my dream. This does not only apply to Football, this can not be stressed enough. If you want season tickets to anything consider these 2 things.
1.) Is there a waiting list?
2.) How long will it take to pay the price?
Those two questions are important because with the National Football League teams there is normally a long waitlist. With a waitlist, you can figure out how much you can spare day-to-day. I say daily because saving daily will keep your goal top of your mind, and since we get paid daily this is a good way to be certain that your goal is coming closer every day.

Have I said How Much I Love My Family Lately?
When I was a teenager/ young man I never let myself imagine I could ever have such a wonderful family. The cards were kind of stacked against me or so my young insecure ego lead me to believe. Ego can work both ways either for you or against you.
I was such a shy young person, that talking to new people, especially young ladies, felt impossible. My heart would begin to beat like I was running, and my chest would get really tight and my throat would get so dry it was like I drank a big cup of dust. This would all take place from thinking about approaching a young lady. How could I ever ask someone for a date? That is a story for another time.
I Remember Back to 1997
My son was born and the thought of us going to see the Pittsburgh Steelers, the thought of father and son was overwhelming. I was compelled to take action. Took a quick trip to 3 Rivers Stadium and applied for Steelers season tickets. Now there was nothing to do but wait…
Not really because NFL season tickets are very expensive so I needed to get to work so that buying them when it was my turn would be a reality and not just a pipe dream. I have had many promises broken to me so I have done my best to keep my word.
16 Years Later
Better late than never. At the time when the South Plaza was new, they sent an invitation to me for season tickets. Having 16 years to prepare for this day, I jumped at the opportunity without a thought of the cost. Not saying that I was or am wealthy, but having been prepared with more than enough funds set aside I truly felt like a very wealthy person.
I am not going to try and sell the dream that we were able to attend every game. People get busy and some tickets had to be sold because my family and friends were all too busy to attend a game. Would you believe perfect strangers will pay you for your football tickets? Oh yes, another stream of income!
But Wait There’s More!!
Remember those old late-night infomercials and they would try to bundle everything up to show incredible value and the Host would exclaim “But Wait There’s More!!” And they would bring out another bundle of value but you always had to pay for shipping and handling.
I never want to be that pitchy, but there have been times in my effort and excitement to give an incredible amount of value, that I may have crossed over into being pitchy. I remember a time when that infomercial style of selling was being taught by self-proclaimed internet marketing experts.

I Always Try To Tell A Story
Ever wonder why nobody complains about Russell being a hype or pitch-man? It is because every time he pitches anyone on anything he tells a personal story about himself, his family, and his business journey, and wraps it into a sale pitch so smoothly no one realizes they were pitched. I would go as far as to say his pitches are very entertaining not in a laughable satirical way, but in a, I know he is selling me a $5K package but I can’t look away.
Any Dream Can Be Achieved
The best quickest way to achieve any dream is through consistency. Showing up every day and sharing your story with people, not bots, schemes, or automated get rich today crap. Every day show up and start a conversation with 1 new person. Sometimes the results will be great and sometimes not so great.
After about 7 to 14 days of doing this your confidence will begin to build, so now apply a 5x principle. Instead of talking to 1 person a day now start talking to 5 new people a day, and when you feel ready you can go up to 10 people a day.
This formula can be adjusted to fit your time constraints. The important thing to remember is that whether you are building a list or a brand you need to talk to people every day, or your efforts will not likely be rewarded.
