Funko Pop is a well known producer of collectible vinyl figurines and bobbleheads. Millions of people around the world are collecting these cute, little things. You can buy them anywhere - from online stores through ebay to Walmart and other big retailers.

FUNKO NFTs

Some time ago Funko entered the NFTs world by releasing their first digital collection - Big Boy. It was to celebrate Funko's first bobblehead series available to purchase in-stores over 20 years ago.

The sale started on August 31 on WAX blockchain and turned out to be a success. Soon Funko released other collection.

Usually you can buy two types of card packs:

Standard @9.99 USD - 5 NFTs
Premium @29.99 USD - 15 NFTs

Cards themselves are organized by their rarities:

Common
Uncommon
Rare
Epic
Legendary
Grail
1 of 1

Most Funko digital collections are organized in this way. Legendary, Grail and "1 of 1" cards are redeemable for physical pops!

HOW TO REDEEM PHYSICAL POPS

For each collection there is a set date on which Funko is gonna take snapshot and people who are eligible get "Redemption Token". It usually takes place 120 days after the release.

Once you have the token, you will get 30 days to claim your physical copy. If you do not claim, you will lose your chance to redeem it. Shipping to US is free, and to europe (according to info from WAX discord) it costs $20 for the first pop and $10 for other ones (if send in one parcel). There may be also duty tax involved.

Pops to redeem depend on the collection but usually it looks like this:

Legendary, Grail and "1 of 1"

These are very rare, about 1000 pieces each type (except "1 of 1" of course). You can get them randomly by buying and opening packs or just by buying them on the market. They have "Redeemable" flag set to true in their description.

Royalty Set

To get one of these you have to collect all the cards from Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic sets (you can track your progress by checking "My Sets" menu on Atomichub.io). It usually is a variation of Freddy figurine (company's mascot, very popular among collectors).

IRON MAIDEN COLLECTION

Iron Maiden collection redemption date is the end of January 2022. Right now you can get Legendary card for ~52 USD (£40) which is IMHO a bargain - regular pops in UK cost about £10.

That said you have to be careful - as we are dealing with physical pops, any damage to the box will drastically lower their price. Also there is no guarantee you will sell for this price.
