Mines of Dalarniais a browser based play2earn game which I follow and play for some time now.
It is a very simple game but has that great vibe of Boulder Dash - digging through a cave and finding diamonds (or copper or something else).

Right now MoD is in alpha stage and everything happens on a testnet, so no real money involved.

The premise of the game is that you are a miner who (surprise surprise) mines minerals on different worlds. You have your trusty pickaxe, oxygen tank and backpack and you have to survive the mission without getting killed by monsters or running out of oxygen. Once you have everything you need you have to find a teleport to safely return home.

All your equipment may be upgraded by spending your minerals, you can also craft some additional consumables like a teleport or health soda.

There are different worlds (Terrestrial, Lava, Ice, and Darkness) where you can find different minerals. There are also different land plots (planets/caves?) which you can rent for DAR tokens, so if you are a land owner you can earn the rent money.

Should I get involved?

Land sale is coming soon (check out their very active discord for more info) and I am planning to get some if I can afford. The team seems to know what they are doing - they already had a sale of their Mining Apes NFTs and it went great.

These apes grant you some cool stuff in the game (Canaries) and there will be DAR airdrops for ape owners. Useful thing to have.

The DAR token is listed on Binance, you can also mine it on PancakeSwap. It seems to be doing fine in terms of stability (after initial crash of course). Once game goes live people will need it to play.

The team got some extra funding recently and is working on version 2.0 which will have upgraded art and I guess will be downloadable as an exe.
