Travala's executives have tried to partner up with Airbnb regarding this concept. But due to failed negotiations, they have decided to create the platform on their own with external support.

Will it become the next Airbnb?

NO. At least not in the foreseeable future. The number of people wanting to spend crypto on such things is too tiny. I would imagine it would be the same with AVA too.

It might turn out to be one of those things that was before it's time and a newer version will be very successful in the future.

I just can't see there would be enough adoption yet.

Unless both platforms are taking Fiat too and then the challenges would be different. 

. . . Ha, ha, ha. I wrote that comment before reading the white paper. Now I'm going to change to YES. It could be successful. If it's done well. Cheaper fees could be a big draw. 
