the good of getting up early

Generally it's good to get up early as I can start my Rising Star missions off before I start work.

But today was an even better reason since I saw a text first thing from a very dear friend of mine who lives in Hawaii. It's difficult for us to speak because of the time differences.

But because I was up super early it meant I could connect with him in the evening his time. He's going in for a heart operation on Tuesday and wanted to see me before he went into hospital. When he contacted me the evening before (my time) I was already in bed so to get his text this morning and be able to spend time talking together was really special.
