Hello all Silver and Gold Stackers!!!

I stopped by another Numismatic shop, this time much larger, and I saw some really interesting coins in the window display. In this photo, you can see the Australian coins made of 2 ounces of pure silver 999, dedicated to the Chinese zodiac signs.

While we, in the West, have zodiac signs that change about a month apart, for the Chinese calendar, each year is assigned to one of these 12 animals: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig.

Be careful, if you want to know your Chinese zodiac sign, if you were born in January or February, you need to check the day of the Chinese New Year of that year!!!

These coins are beautiful. As you can see, the price varies from 80 euros to 250 euros, depending on their rarity. The Year of the Snake 2013 coin costs 90 euros, so it is not that sought after in the end. The others seem to cost more, but I am not sure.

These historical coins with very rich and adorned reliefs are interesting. I have no idea what they are, but underneath them are the 2-ounce Kookaburras, priced at 80 euros, which doesn't seem like a bad price for a shop like this.

However, I noticed that the condition of the coins in this shop was not the best. We certainly cannot say they are "Mint Condition," and one of the Kookaburras was yellow, and it wasn't clear if it was real silver.

What do you think of these prices? They still seem much higher compared to buying them online, don't they?

Sono passato per un altro negozio di Numismatica, questa volta molto più grande, ed ho visto in vetrina delle monete veramente interessanti. In questa foto vedete le monete australiane da 2 Once d argento purissimo 999, dedicate ai segni zodiacali del calendario cinese. Mentre noi , in occidente, abbiamo dei segni zodiacali che cambiano circa a distanza di un mese, per il calendario cinese ogni anno viene assegnato ad uno di questi 12 animali: Topo, Bue, Tigre, Coniglio, Drago, Serpente, Cavallo, Capra, Scimmia, Gallo, Cane e Maiale. Attenti, che se volete sapere il vostro segno zodiacale cinese, se siete nati a gennaio o febbraio dovete controllare il giorno del capodanno cinese di quell'anno !!!

Questa monete sono bellissime, come vedete il prezzo varia da 80 euro a 250 euro, a seconda della rarità: L'anno del serpente 2013 viene 90 euro, quindi alla fine non è così ricercato, le altre mi sembra intravedere che costano di più, ma non sono sicuro.

Interessanti queste monete storiche con dei rilievi molto ricchi e adornati, non ho la minima idea di cosa siano, comunque sotto ci sono le kookaburra da 2 once, prezzo 80 euro, che non sembra essere un cattivo prezzo per un negozio del genere.

Però ho notato, in questo negozio, che lo stato di conservazione delle monete non era delle migliori, non si può certo parlare di Fior di Conio, una dei kookaburra era proprio gialla, non si capiva nemmeno se fosse vero argento.

Come vi sembrano questi prezzi, sempre molto alti rispetto a comprarli online, vero?
