These last days I have been looking for a business that I can buy, and the reason why I have decided to buy it, is because there is a way that I can make it in my name of ownership even if I am not a Colombian citizen, and this is something that I could know because I have talked to another Venezuelan that has created a business and he told me which is this way, because otherwise I must wait until February or March of next year to be able to register the businesses as mine.
The reason why I must buy it and not create it, is that I need the business to be registered in the name of another person and then I can make a notarized contract where that person gives me the whole business, and with this it would be a business where I am the owner but it is registered with the name of a Colombian until I decide to change it, and this would be when I have the documents.
Because of this I have had to look at what existing business I can buy, either to improve it or as an investment in which I can rely on to receive income in Colombian pesos while I wait to have a legal status that will allow me to do bigger things or start them, as currently you can start things that would not be legal for a few months.
I feel that I have become an expert in asking questions about the businesses I want to buy, looking at profitability, what they sell, how they sell it, how many they sell, who they sell to, where the business is located, competition and allies, as well as legality of these businesses, and this regardless of the nationality of whoever sells me the business, I just look at the data of the business and if it is sustainable in the future.
For this I have to stay for a while in each business to see how it moves with customers and see how much is sold in a period of several hours, so rather than tell me how good are the sales and how profits are earned, I see what is the reality of the business with my own eyes, and this ultimately gives me more confidence to say what I think and so far I have only seen a business that I like, but the downside of this is that it is a franchise and it may be more difficult to do something with this case.
This is something that has been recommended to me for a long time, and now I recommend the same for those who want to buy a business, whatever it is, and that is that they should go personally to see how they feel being customers, and also how is the flow of customers in the area, because then we are going to be the ones who have to live this and it is better to know before to avoid negative surprises.

Estos últimos días he estado buscando un negocio que pueda comprar, y la razón por la que he decidido comprarlo, es porque hay una manera en que puedo hacer que este a mi nombre de titularidad aun cuando no sea un ciudadano colombiano, y esto es algo que pude saber por haber hablado con otro venezolano que ha creado un negocio y me dijo cual es esta manera, ya que de otra forma debo esperar a Febrero o Marzo del año que viene para poder registrar los comercios como míos.
La razón por la que debo comprarlo y no crearlo, es que necesito que el negocio este registrado a nombre de otra persona y luego puedo hacer un contrato notariado donde esa persona me cede la totalidad del negocio, y con esto quedaría siendo un comercio donde soy el dueño pero que está registrado con el nombre de un colombiano hasta que yo decida cambiarlo, y esto sería cuando tenga los documentos.
Debido a esto he tenido que buscar que negocios existentes puedo comprar, ya sea para mejorarlo o como una inversión en la cual puedo apoyarme para recibir ingresos en pesos colombianos mientras espero a tener un estado legal que me permita hacer cosas más grandes o iniciarlas, ya que actualmente puede iniciar cosas que no serían legales por unos meses.
Siento que me he vuelto un experto en preguntar cosas sobre los negocios que quiero comprar, viendo la rentabilidad, lo que venden, como lo venden, cuantos venden, a quienes venden, donde se encuentra el negocio, competencia y aliados, como también legalidad de estos negocios, y esto sin importar la nacionalidad de quien sea que me venda el negocio, únicamente veo los datos del negocio y si es sustentable en el futuro.
Para esto he debido quedarme un tiempo en cada negocio para ver cómo se mueve con los clientes y ver que tanto se vende en un periodo de varias horas, por lo que más que decirme que tan buenas son las ventas y como se ganan los beneficios, veo cual es la realidad del negocio con mis propios ojos, y esto al final me da más confianza de decir lo que pienso y hasta ahora solo he visto un negocio que me gusta, pero lo malo de esto es que es una franquicia y puede ser más difícil poder hacer algo con este caso.
Esto es algo que me han recomendado desde hace tiempo, y ahora yo recomiendo lo mismo para quienes quieran comprar un negocio, sea cual sea, y es que deben ir personalmente a ver como se sienten siendo clientes, y también como es el flujo de clientes en la zona, ya que luego vamos a ser nosotros quienes tengamos que vivir esto y es mejor saberlo desde antes para no tener sorpresas negativas.
