AskLeo - When and how did you become a monetized content creator?

Lately I've been seeing that several articles have been coming out from people talking about this topic and I thought it was interesting to contribute about my experience on this, so this article is going to answer my part of the story about the question asked by @acesontop, which refers to how I became a monetized content creator.
This started back in 2017 when I started recording some videos about finance and psychology for Youtube but I saw that it took a lot of time and I didn't get much after so much effort, so I stopped recording at that time and focused on my college studies, at the same time I met Steemit because of a video that a Youtuber known in Latin America made.
In Steemit I only did one article and stopped writing because I saw that I did not like writing articles, which was also reflected in my university work when I had problems in exams that required giving long and elaborate answers, while my strength was in the analysis of numbers and methodology.
After going several years without writing articles or making YouTube videos, I returned in 2019 to record videos about trading psychology on YouTube, and then in 2020 I started writing on Hive because my girlfriend recommended this platform to me because her mom was writing at the time (she had started on Steemit and moved to Hive).
I met Hive at an excellent time because it happened when I was starting the coronavirus quarantine in Venezuela and I wanted to have more income, but I was also looking for a way to create written content since I was publishing content in video format for Youtube, so it was an opportunity that I didn't let go.
So far I haven't managed to monetize my Youtube channel but I was able to start having constant income from Hive (which I direct to investment only), and that's what makes me able to say that Hive and later Leo (where I publish all my articles nowadays) were my beginnings as a monetized content creator.
It was in my second attempt as a content creator that I got what really interested me and the reason why I keep writing and improving my articles, so I have been recommending that we get what we would like to express and know more, as this makes ideas flow in a more spontaneous and fluid way, making creating content something we enjoy and that consumers of our content enjoy.

Últimamente he estado viendo que han salido varios artículos de personas hablando sobre este tema y me pareció interesante aportar sobre mi experiencia en esto, por lo que este articulo va a responder mi parte de la historia sobre la pregunta realizada por @acesontop, que se refiere a la forma en que me convertí en un creador de contenido monetizado.
Esto comenzó hace en el 2017 cuando comencé a grabar algunos videos sobre finanzas y psicología para Youtube pero vi que tomaba mucho tiempo y no conseguía mucho luego de tanto esfuerzo, por lo que deje de grabar en ese momento y me concentre en mis estudios universitarios, al mismo tiempo que conocí a Steemit por un video que hizo un Youtuber conocido en Latinoamérica y que habla sobre criptomonedas.
En Steemit solo hice un artículo y deje de escribir porque vi que no me gustaba escribir artículos, lo cual también se veía reflejado en mis trabajos universitarios al tener problemas en exámenes que requerían dar respuestas largas y elaboradas, mientras que mi fortaleza se encontraba en el análisis de números y metodología.
Luego de estar varios años sin escribir artículos o hacer videos de Youtube, volví en el 2019 a grabar videos sobre psicología del trading en Youtube, y luego en el 2020 comencé a escribir en Hive porque mi novia me recomendó esta plataforma porque su mama estaba escribiendo en ese momento (había comenzado en Steemit y se mudó a Hive).
Conocí Hive en un excelente momento porque ocurrió cuando estaba comenzando la cuarentena por el coronavirus en Venezuela y quería tener más ingresos, pero también estaba buscando una manera de crear contenido escrito ya que estaba publicando contenido en formato de videos para Youtube, por lo que fue una oportunidad que no deje ir.
Hasta ahora no he conseguido monetizar mi canal de Youtube pero si pude comenzar a tener ingresos constantes de Hive (los cuales dirijo a inversión únicamente), y es lo que hace que pueda decir que Hive y posteriormente Leo (donde publico todos mis artículos en la actualidad) fueron mis inicios como creador de contenido monetizado.
Fue en mi segundo intento como creador de contenido que conseguir aquello que realmente me interesaba y la razón por la que me mantengo escribiendo y mejorando mis artículos, por lo que he estado recomendado que consigamos aquello que nos gustaría expresar y conocer más, ya que esto hace que las ideas fluyan de una manera más espontánea y fluida, haciendo que crear contenido sea algo que disfrutemos y que los consumidores de nuestro contenido disfruten.
