Hay muchas maneras de entender a los mercados, ya sea en forma de análisis técnico, en forma de análisis fundamental o hasta maneras que puedan parecer solo adivinación, pero si hay algo que en todas debemos tener en cuenta para poder ser rentables y tomas las tendencias que nos puedan hacer ganar mucho dinero, es seguir a los peces gordos.

Con peces gordos me refiero a las ballenas, a las instituciones que mueven mucho dinero o traders con mucho capital y que pueden mover el mercado de alguna manera si lo desean, ya sea por colocar órdenes de compra o de venta en puntos específicos o por hacer que aumente la demanda o la oferta de manera considerable sobre un activo.

Veamos el caso de lo que ocurre con Warren Buffet y lo que podemos llamar su “sello de aprobación” que se refiere a las acciones que ha comprado y que ya podemos ver que si ha tomado esa decisión, es porque confía en lo que ha visto y si seguimos sus logros a lo largo de su vida, podremos tener confianza en aquello en lo que el confía, aun cuando tiene casi un siglo de edad porque ha visto muchas burbujas o crisis a lo largo de su vida.

Otros casos son las instituciones que han ingresado a Bitcoin y cómo podemos ver que la oferta ha disminuido considerablemente en los últimos meses, y que entendemos como a menor oferta, mayor demanda, el precio va a subir.

También pueden ser las compras frecuentes de oro por parte de países en específico y que nos dan a entender que es lo que están viendo para el futuro y podemos ajustar nuestras inversiones de acuerdo a aquello, pero aun teniendo en cuenta nuestras propias ideas.

Tenemos que pensar que si se llaman dinero inteligente es por una razón, y aunque es cierto que no siempre tienen la razón en lo absoluto, si debemos tomar en cuenta que tienen el poder para tener la razón aun cuando no exista un fundamento en la realidad para sus decisiones, en otras palabras, pueden mover los mercados.
