Something that we can see in p2p exchanges but also in other types of business, is that a great reputation is required to be able to have larger profits, like the case of Apple that has been able to stay with great profits from products that cost more than the average and deliver something similar, although with some differences that give the good brand it has, and in the case of p2p exchanges we can see that you can trade more with people who have great reputation (even if they have less attractive rates) than with people who are just starting out.
This happens because there are times when trust is worth more than the price we are paying, so we are willing to pay a little more to know that what we are checking works as it should work, or in the case of p2p exchanges in cryptos, that we can trust that the funds they will transfer me are legal and that there will not be some play against us for the transfer.
Currently I have a reputation of more than 3000 confirmed trades and 100% good reviews on Localbitcoins platform, so I can make trades with a better rate for me, and even if I am not as competitive as other people, there are clients who prefer to trade with me because they know I am a reliable trader, while other person with less reputation or bad reputation on the platform is something that can avoid trading.
In this case I see it as a personal brand and one that I want to maintain over time because having a good reputation is synonymous with greater opportunities, and it is what is worth a lot of money in the long run, as it can maintain a steady cash flow and open up other forms of business in the same industry.
On the opposite side, a bad reputation is something that can hurt us a lot, as we may not have great business, as well as have few trades and keep people who can make us grow more, away from us because we do not give people confidence.
The interesting thing about reputation is that it is something that is earned, it cannot be bought, and it takes a lot of time and effort, but I can tell you that the value we receive for all this effort is worth the time invested.

Algo que podemos ver en los intercambios p2p pero también en otros tipos de negocios, es que se requiere de una gran reputación para poder tener ganancias más amplias, como el caso de Apple que ha podido mantenerse con granes ganancias de productos que cuestan más que el promedio y entregan algo parecido, aunque con unas diferencias que dan la buena marca que tiene, y en el caso de los intercambios p2p podemos ver que se puede comerciar más con personas que tienen gran reputación (aunque tengan tasas menos atractivas) que con personas que apenas están comenzando.
Esto ocurre porque hay veces en que la confianza vale más que el precio que estamos pagando, por lo que estamos dispuestos a pagar un poco más por saber que lo que estamos comprobando funciona como debe funcionar, o en el caso de los intercambios p2p en criptos, que podamos confiar en que los fondos que me transferirán son legales y que no existirá algún juego en contra de nosotros por la transferencia.
Actualmente tengo una reputación de más de 3000 operaciones confirmadas y 100% de buenos comentarios en la plataforma de Localbitcoins, por lo que puedo hacer operaciones con una mejor tasa para mí, y aun cuando no soy tan competitivo como otras personas, hay clientes que prefieren comerciar conmigo porque saben que soy un comerciante confiable, mientras que otras persona con menos reputación o con mala fama en la plataforma es algo que puede evitar el comercio.
En este caso lo veo como una marca personal y que quiero mantener a través del tiempo porque tener una buena reputación es sinónimo de mayores oportunidades, y es lo que vale mucho dinero en el largo plazo, ya que puede mantener un flujo de caja constante y abrir otras formas de negocio en la misma industria.
Por el lado contrario, una mala reputación es algo que nos puede perjudicar mucho, ya que es posible que no tengamos grandes negocios, como también tengamos pocos comercios y mantengamos a las personas que pueden hacernos crecer más, alejados de nosotros porque no damos confianza a las personas.
Lo interesante de la reputación es que es algo que se gana, no se puede comprar, y toma mucho tiempo y esfuerzo, pero si les puedo decir que el valor que recibimos por todo este esfuerzo es algo que vale el tiempo invertido.
