BURN OUT(A DANGER TO FINANCIAL OUTPUT): ITS CAUSES, RISKS AND HOW TO PREVENT IT..

Sometimes we wish we have to have the power of a robot or atleast a super human to be able to wotk longer hours. Most times I complain to myslef that the hours in a day are too small and I wish I can go longer. Most of the time I desire to have more strength because the mind want to keep working but the body is like "Hell Nah, I'm resting now" lol. This means the way our body biology is made is to automatically want to rest or demand rest whenever we subject it to intensive stress or works. Aside being tired physically, we tend to burn out which is very worse.

WHAT IS A BURN OUT.

This is a severe mental, physical and emotional exhaustion which is caused by being exposed to intense/severe stress and works. This is worse than being merely tired. You tend to exhaust your inner water and feel like you have nothing left to give. No matter how hard you try you just appear to be completely dry. This could lead to more worse physical and psychological problems because you tend to fall into depression, become hopeless and might even end up ending a Pessimist. This inturm can lead to life threatening issuess as worse as heart problems.

As a creative, I've suffered from burning out in the past and I even think I'm suffering from it right now. This is caused by starting another project immediately after completing one without even giving myself rest. What I do isn't the one that requires huge physical strengh but it requires lots of intellectual stress. From thinking of a concept, to gathering the ideas of executing it and to bringing it to life. This takes a lot from you mentally and when you do this over and over again with no rest, you risk burning out. Since I finish the last piece in recent collection, I can't just create something new and different since then. I feel completely dry which is a sign of being burned out.

HOW TO PREVENT OR TREAT BURN OUT.

The first thing I recommend is to retreat, rest and replenish. This is very important. Its just like tapping into a well of water for a long period of time. For some wells, they tend to dry up and this is when you leave them for a while to replenish themselves and bring forth more water. As a hardworking person, this might be difficult for us but it's very necessary. In other to now prevent it, you need to exercise regularly, eat a well balanced diet, ensure you practice a good sleeping habits, don't overwork yourself, share responsibilities(dead the idea of I can do it alone especially if you are into business and it's growing), learn to turn down some jobs that the stress pattern might be overwhelming for you, eat a balanced diet and finally know when to seek for help when you fall into a burn out. Most times you can't help yourself alone and this is when you rely on your friends and family to help you through. If we don't treat a burn out accordingly, that financial output we are so afraid of will end up suffering from it. I mean when you can't even be productive, how will you meet your financial goals?
