German dealer no longer buys silver eagles nor America the Beautifull

Yesterday I got a notification of a video of a German coin dealer Apollo Edelmetalle. Normally these are about new coins but this one was different. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWRUr0OlX_k

The dealer calls the US Mint "crazy" and he stops reselling Silver Eagles or 5OZ Am. the beautifull to German clients. In German not participating any oge ris "Ich mache nicht mehr mit"

Why ?

He says that his price as dealer sees a carzy increase in premium introduced by the US Mint.

Per ounce the 2 dollar on top of 1 ounce became 8 dollar ! He mentions this coin as example

It's premium for him is already 40 USD per coin. This used to be 10 USD.

And now the ASE Silver Eagle. Last 6 months it was unavailable and on the market you see 40 EUR for one ASE which is 22 EUR worth in pure silver.

This is because the premium of the US Mint is 13 EUR per coin!

For gold eagles the premium is 8,5% and he also refuses to take these any longer.

Crazy times? There must be a shortage or what is it?
