Dear Hivers

Today I show you some more of my Clovis to Republic gold coin series minted by the Monnaie de Paris between 2011 and 2015.
Louis 14

The serie portrayes rulers - some not all - of the French Empire starting in the years 750 but the first three rulers I showed already. All are 1 quarter ounce hammered proof coins (hammer time). You will see one coin that was not a good strike.

I now take you to six more coins in chronological sequence.

Philippe II Auguste 1180-1223 Saint Louis 1226 -1270 (bad hammering !!!!) Louis X1 1461 - 1483 Francois 1er 1515-1547 Henri IV 1589 - 1610 Louis XIV (quatorze the famous one !) 1643-1715
