Who let the dog out ?

Dear Stackers,

Convinced by me my wife ocassionally buys some gold. Preferably at the end of the year and then she moves a chunk of cash into precious metals. So far she does not regret helped by inflation hence climbing gold price

A few years ago she bought this amazing coin:

The Lunar Year of the Dog 2 ounce gold coin

I think this is a labrador or alike. No wait, a golden retriever ofcourse.

The 2 ouncers of the lunar series are not larger than the one ouce but just fatter. Here ou see the Dog next to a quarter ounce coin that I bought at the same date.
