My Experience a With Scammer

Every week is loaded with delight because of fresh weekly editions of the @hivelearners community. This is the Edition 1 of the Week 17 prompt.
This year, I had several fraud encounters in form of investment. Have lost over $300 in several scams. Due to these losses, I have vowed not to join any investment again....hahaha
It was in a group I joined, someone chatted me up saying he sells USDT(a stable coin). At that time, $1 was comparable to 580 when sold. So he was like he would offer me cheaper, so I accepted.
He said he would provide me with the sum of 520 for $1. I was delighted that at least I would earn minimal profit. Little did I realize he was a fraudster. We completed our calculation and he was to give me $17 worth of USDT while I was to pay him $10(in Naira), he ordered me to execute the transaction and provided his account details. Immediately after I gave him the money screenshot he stopped talking to me. I phoned him with numerous numbers but no response.
Looking so genuine, he requested for my USDT wallet address that I sent and he said that the network was upsetting and I should wait. I waited still long and no reaction, after sending no many messages, I decided to use my Roommate's phone to chat him up that I want to purchase USDT and he answered using the same manner, then I realized it was all fake.
I wasn't pleased throughout the day, since it was the only money I was with. It was when everything had transpired it was as if my eyes opened...hahaha I had to instantly post in the group that nobody should purchase USDT from the individual stating he sells at a discounted cost. Since then, I don't purchase USDT or any currency from any merchant I don't know.
When I informed other friends, they were saying I should go to the bank to track him with his account data, but it would be a lengthy journey. That was a significant lesson I learned never to do any transaction with anybody I didn't know.
