Many people assume that there must be a short cut to avoid working hard and yet becoming super rich. If you're one of such people, I'm sorry to burst your bubble - but there isn't. The road to success is made for men that work hard. Let's not even talk about the intelligence and the smartness required - I'm talking about the pure hard work.

We hate to admit it, but so many people are just flat out lazy, and that's the number one cause of their lack of money. Most people don't want to invest their time, and their energy into what they're doing, yet they want to be making the largest sum of money that you can imagine. Realizing that hard work has no substitute is crucial.

You need to apply yourself to whatever you do. You need to be willing to wake up earlier than everyone else and sleep later than everyone else if the need arises. Most people think that working hard only has to do with you carrying heavy loads physically, but that's not the case. Working that may be intellectual.

When you sit down and study hard for a good amount of time - you're working hard. When you always make yourself available when you're needed, you're working hard. When you make sure you complete all the mental and physical tasks you're supposed to do everyday without giving excuses - you're working hard.

But when you're making excuses every now and then, for not doing what you're supposed to do - you're being lazy. There's a popular saying - the harder you work, the luckier you get. There's so much wisdom in those words. When you see people that give in their best, you see people that tend to succeed at the end.
