My SplinterLands Journey From $4k - $100K+ & Counting
Hey All;
For a long time, I had been thinking to write a post on my Splinterlands journey. And here, I am today posting about it. Yes, if I remember correctly, I would have invested close to $4K+ and at present, the value of all my assets in the game from cards to a tract is above $100K+... simply amazing & wow.
The best part is the daily SPS drop of close to 500 SPS tokens daily that I get. I have a collection power of close to 2.8Mil and it gets me somewhere around 500 SPS airdropped daily. I'm not selling any of the SPS tokens and all of them are staked. As can be seen from the above image with the current APR of 250%, I'm get close to 100 SPS daily for staking close to 13K+ SPS tokens.

Here is my SPS claim history that showcases the SPS airdropped and SPS received for staking SPS.
As stated above, I get close 500 SPS daily and all of them are being staked. I strongly believe that the price of SPS tokens will further surge because of the utility that it has got. At first, it is the governance token of the game Splinterlands, and secondly, in the near future the amount of SPS tokens a player HOLDs or stakes will allow them to take part in purchases of new cards etc.
I also believe that there will also be a mechanism in the game [probably could be not 100% sure] that would be brought in the game to BURN the SPS tokens. Just as we have for DEC burn there could be something associated with SPS as well that burns SPS tokens and this further reduces the circulating supply of the token and pushing the price of the SPS token to surge further.
Something like the new packs that are bought with SPS will be Burnt. How good that would be?
Coming back to the main topic of my investment in the Splinterlands game.
I've two account here. The main account is @gungunkrishu, which as per @sm-voter stats bot command is worth $76K+ and the other account which is @healthdear is worth $12K+. Now that if I also include the value of the tract that I bought for $1200 my total holding in the game would be worth $100K+ and rather much more.
I did a post sometime back in May - SplinterLands:: Value of Cards - Game $MarketCap Rising - My Investment Tract Purchase Already 40+% UP.... At that point in time, I bought 1 Tract for close to $1200 leveraging the 20% discount if paid via the BAT tokens. Also when I look back in time i.e. 2 months ago in may my investment was worth $9K+
And now you can see it's more than 10x. I had bought 1 track for $1200 and now the price of a single plot is more than $300+ so can imagine what would be the price of a tract which is equal to 100 plots. At one point in time, I did try to sell it for 10K HIVE on hive-engine but when it didn't sell, I just canceled the bid and let it stay with me, and at current prices its more than 30K+ HIVE.. so I'm not selling the tract.. no chances.
Buying a tract was a dream for me and when I bought it for $1200 it was like that is the right decision or not. Splinterlands:: You Dream iT - You Have iT - Bought my First Tract - Equals 100 And now when you see the prices of plots it's like people who didn't buy then are regretting it now.
Finally, I would like to end this post by saying that investing in the Splinterlands game was the best decision I took. And the most important of all, I didn't sell the cards. I just kept on accumulating. I did many posts and at the same time echoed it to most of the people to HODL onto your cards.
The alt account that I made is via the help of my main account. And hence all the SPS and the cards that I hold in the alt. account came in for all FREE... simply amazing. In this account, I'm getting close to 50 SPS daily and all is being staked and the same can be depicted from the above image.
