Splinterlands:: AirDrop Cards Are Here - I got lucky claiming $300+ worth of cards & My Strategy Forward...
Hey All;
Finally; we have the 4th, 5th & 6th AirDrop cards to be claimed. And every pack purchased in either the presale or the second sale or general sale will be eligible to receive these AirDrop cards. If you have participated in any of the sales above and had bought CHAOS LEGION PACKs then you are eligible to claim the Airdrop. But this doesn't guarantee you a card, as there are separate mechanics to receiving the AirDrop card.
The additional airdrop card will also be Legendary rarity and have the same 0.2857% chance of being dropped for each pack purchased, meaning that 1 in every 350 packs on average should receive the card.
Therefore in a nutshell the higher packs you would have purchased the higher the chances of receiving the AirDrop cards. I had bought close to 806 packs; which guaranteed me at least 2 Airdrop cards for every unlocked card.

LIRA THE DARK - 6 Standard Cards

Final Thoughts & My Strategy...
Altogether; I got close to 19 AirDrop cards and they all are legendary cards. If we do the quick math, I'm not going to specifics they all will cost more than $300+ maybe even more. At the moment, I'm not selling any of these cards that I have got. Rather the plan is to buy more of these cards and bring them to at least level 3 if possible.
It would have been really nice if I could have got a Gold foil card. But no regrets whatever I got, I am happy with that as well - $300+ is not a small amount after all. The plan forward is to buy more packs; so far I did buy 806. So as to increase my chances of getting more AirDrop cards, I would be buying more packs in near future and will try making the total packs purchase number to 100.
Definitely, I look forward to leveraging the packs in bulk; i.e. 100 packs with 10 Vouchers so that I can get additional 10 bonus packs. As of now, I'm getting close to 6+ VOUCHERs daily so having Vouchers is not a problem. The real problem is to have 400K Credits. For that, I have a plan as well - which is I'm going to convert all the extra Vouchers that I get into Credits and there you go with the extra 100 packs being purchased in near future... I am expecting that in another 10 days or so; I should be able to buy 100 packs.. but let's see; fingers crossed.
