SplinterLands:: Finally Got some CHAOS LEGION Packs - My Strategy...

I had been waiting to Buy the CHAOS LEGION Packs & finally made a purchase. To be very honest, I made the purchase two days ago where there was a spike in the price of the SPS token. I also did a post mentioning that I'm all set to buy the CH packs but was waiting for some movement in the price of SPs. How Much did I pay for 500 Packs..
As seen from the above image. I paid close to 3700+ SPS and 500 Vouchers. This purchase of 500 packs got me additional 75 packs as a Bouns and paying via SPs got me 10% discount as well. Buying these packs got me the Rank 263 in the Pre-Sale Leaderboard. I'm not running for any Rank in particular.
Just had this target to buy 500 packs, which I did and it make me feel happy about it. I'm already reaping the benefits of entering the game SplinterLands during its Beta Sale. One thing that I did differently is that I dint sell any of my cards and kept accumulating during the phase the game was in its initial stages. Now when you look at the prices of the cards - they have all skyrocketed and players who HODLed them are all enjoying seeing their investment grow 10 folds or even more. Plus the beauty is the SPS Airdrop that is being given out daily.
My Strategy..
The PreSale of CHAOS LEGION Packs ends in another 17+ Hours. So if you want to enter the PreSale and get additional benefits tied to receiving promo cards, Airdrops.. this is your last chance. I'll try to see if I can get another 25 Packs that would round it to 600 packs.
Currently, I'm still short another 325 Alchemy potions and another 300 Legendary Potions. Definitely, I would be leveraging these potions to open the packs. This gives you a higher chance of receiving a legendary or a gold foil card - which is even more rare and powerful. So it's best to have these potions or use these potions while you are planning to open the cards.
So until I have the right amount of Alchemy & Legendary potions. I'll not be opening the CHAOS LEGION Packs. Looking at the price of the DECs doesn't feel like investing in buying the potions. And hence I'm happy to receive all of them via the quest rewards.
Finally, I'm also looking to sell some of the extra dragon cards that I've. I feel once the CHAOS LEGION cards are out. We would definitely see some fluctuation in the prices of the cards that belongs to the earlier releases and were offered as part of promo. Off lately, I've been selling - DELWYN DRAGONSCALE, currently listed for $14 and there was a time I sold it even for $16. The prices could further drop. So the strategy is to sell extra cards now, accumulate DEcs so that it increases my SPs Airdrop and at a later point in time buy the cards which I'm falling short to maximize.
