Hello Everyone!!! I hope you are having a great time over there? It's really nice to see you visit my blog today and I must say I'm really happy to have a great personality like you visiting my blog today ๐Ÿ˜Š. Thank you once again ๐Ÿ’•

Firstly I want to thank @leogrowth in courtesy of @leofinance for organising this wonderful contest even though I am submitting my entry a day before the stipulated deadline date due to the fact that I got the information late and I'm that kind of person who loves challenges. Also, it's really great seeing different entries from different people situated at different location across the world explained the effect and real value of HBD in their respective locations.

As the contest request, I'm also going to be sharing the real value of HBD in my home town indicating some of the costs of the things I can afford with HBD and the stipulated amount or costs of food and goods i bought in terms of HBD. Before sharing the real value of HBD in my own time, I think it's best I share with you some important information about my hometown as this will also serve as a means of exploring places across the world ๐Ÿ˜Š.

My Home Town

I am not going to make a deep introduction about myself since most of you already know me to be a Nigerian. I was born and raised up in Ijebu-Ode located in Gateway State (Ogun State) in an African country known as Nigeria. In Nigeria we spend Naira and our currency coin (not crypto) is known as Kobo even though the Kobo seems to have gone into extinction because it's rare seeing Nigerian citizens spending Kobo as a means of transaction.

The available Naira notes we have includes, N5 which is the least of them all , N10, N20, N50, N100, N200, N500, and the highest of them all is N1000. The rate of Dollar to Naira as at the time of this publication is estimated to be around N415 per dollar which connotes that 1 USD = N415 according to CBN exchange rate. This implies that with our least Naira note known as N5 will be equivalent to appropriately $0.013 while our highest available Naira note known as N1000 will be equivalent to approximately $2.5. It is important to note that there's a different scenario when dealing with cryptocurrency rate such as stable coins like USDT to the Nigerian Naira, the rate used to be around 500 - 520 per USDT but now it has now risen to 550 - 600+ per USDT. As a crypto lover I prefer using the crypto dollar to the normal fiat dollar (if you know, you know ๐Ÿ˜Š).

Anyways, sorry for putting you through the stress of learning about our currency and I definitely hope you've learnt one or two lessons about Nigerian currency, now let's come back to my home town since you already have a little understanding of how Nigerian currency can be compared and converted to USD and USDT through the exchange rate I stated above.

In my home town, we also spend the Nigerian Naira when it comes to buying and selling. Also, the good news is that the government also launched our official cryptocurrency known as e-naira which is also pegged to the value of Naira and according to the government this digital currency can also be used as means of payment. We also have some other people accepting cryptos as a means of payment here too in Nigeria and this has shown that cryptocurrency adoption is really spreading across the globe.

My home town is located in Ogun State which can be found in the South Western geopolitical zone of the Nigerian map. We are mostly found of speaking Yoruba language and our culture mostly consistitute the Yoruba culture. We have a king known as Awujale of Ijebu land who is also known as the paramount ruler of all Kings in Ijebu Land. If you really want to know more about my home town, I suggest you should come pay me a visit and let's tour around the whole of Ijebu-Ode if you intend to know more about my hometown ๐Ÿ˜Š.

Some Goods I Bought and their Worth in HBD

I will be sharing with you some of the goods I bought in my hometown and their value in HBD. It is also important to note that the current value of HBD as at the time of this publication is estimated to be around $0.955 very close to $1. I will be making use of some of the goods I bought for the past 24 hours which was yesterday.

All About Yesterday

After waking up from my beautiful sleep, I decided to take a snapshot of my environment early in the morning while I was standing at the balcony just to show you how my environment (hometown) looks like as seen in the above screenshot. I guess you can see it's really beautiful to live in this kind of environment ๐Ÿ˜Š. I guess you can see different shops or centers where goods are sold but they aren't opened yet because it was too early.

After waiting for some period of time around 8:30AM - 9:00AM, the traders began to open their shops and I was really happy because firstly I was so hungry and I will also have the chance to snap some beautiful pictures. The first thing I did was to visit a local restaurant in my hometown who sells bread and beans simply because I'm a lover of food ๐Ÿ˜Š. As you can see from the above screenshot, she is just preparing the food early in the morning and I'm quite sure you can also see different people waiting for the food to be done so that they can also have their breakfast.

This was the bread and beans I got from the local restaurant. The bread was estimated to be N250 which is equivalent to be around 0.5 HBD and the beans i bought was estimated to be N200 equivalent to 0.5 HBD and I bought four meats estimated to be N200 approximately 0.5 HBD. The total amount i spent on breakfast (bread and beans) is approximately 1.5 HBD. I guess that looks so cheap because it's just a local restaurant ๐Ÿ˜Š.

On my way coming back from the mosque, i decided to go get some biscuits and chocolates from this shop shown below

I was able to get three chocolate biscuits, three pocus chin chin and three potato chips all at the total rate of N540 which is equivalent to appropriately 1HBD since it's just little snacks to prevent me from getting hungry before eating dinner because I had the plan of buying some clothes from my friend store. You can check out the chocolate biscuits, potato chips and Phocus chin chin i bought as shown in the below image.

On getting home, i was already very tired to visit my friend's boutique to buy some clothes. All I had to do was just to send my brother the total estimated amount of money that will be succulent for 7 different plain coloured t-shirts. I'm quite sure you can verify this from our WhatsApp chat as shown below

From the conversation, he stated that I would be paying a total amount of N12, 400 for the selected clothes and it's going to be delivered on Wednesday. I had to make a bank transfer of N12,500 into the seller account and this is equivalent to 25 HBD as you can see from the below transaction screenshot

Guess What?๐Ÿ˜„!!

I got my t-shirts delivered today and I was also rewarded with chocolates as a first time customer. This really made me so happy as you can see i have the chocolates held in my hands

I decided to take few pictures of my new ordered clothes, I guess you also know that feeling of happiness when you just bought new cute t-shirts

Check out those new clothes, i got what I ordered exactly! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

Since I was extremely very happy, I decided to eat fufu and efo egusi for dinner. I bought 2 fufu, 1 ponmo and two meats at the total rate of N700 which is equivalent to 1.1HBD.

I'm sorry I already ate some portion before snapping the complete food because I was really in haste to taste the delicious meal as a lover of food.

This was exactly how I spent my day completely today including the things I bought.

Some Other Things I Bought at the rate of 10 HBD

In Nigeria, there are so many valuable things you can get with 10HBD. I will be sharing some of the things or valuable items i bought at the rate of 10 HBD.

#1 CROSS BAG

This is my cross bag I got at the rate of +N5000 which is equivalent to 10HBD. I got due to the fact that it's aesthetics looks really captivating and I can easily keep my smartphone, money or any other valuable items which I don't like to keep in my pocket can also be kept inside the Cross bag.

#2 Birthday Cake

This was actually the birthday cake I got for my junior sister this year and I got the cake at Mosun Cafe restaurant at the rate of N5500 which is approximately equivalent to 10HBD. I guess you can see how happy she looks while she was snapping with her birthday cake as shown below

This is really a moment she will never forget in her lifetime and I also felt fulfilled for making her happy on her birthday.

#3 PERFUME

I'm this kind of person that loves to smell nice and look good. This is why I am always found of using perfume produced by Smart collection because of it's pleasant and attractive smell. The perfume also worths 10HBD in most stores located in my hometown.

#4 CONDENSED MILK

This is also a condensed milk i love mixing with different fruits like cucumber, banana, Groundnut, pineapple, water melon, apple and carrot all sliced together for fruit salad. I'm also a fan of tea and coffee, I tend to mix my beverages with this delicious condensed milk for lovely delicious taste. I also got this for 10HBD at a Supermarket known as ACE supermarket.

I'm quite sure you can see how valuable HBD is in my hometown when it comes to buying different things and I also love the fact that HBD happens to be one of the top best stable coins in the crypto market making it very easy and possible for me to buy different things I need in my hometown.

Thank You for your time and I hope you have a great day ahead with love from @hardaeborla ๐Ÿ’•โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’•โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’•
