72$. For only seventy-two dollars and there are currently gold legendary reward cards on the market to buy.

That's a lot of money, of course. You can buy a lot for 72$. Half a tank of gas, for example.

But I think it's still a very low price for a golden Djinn Oshannus. And that's why I have my building society contract.... I mean my Splinterlands voucher balance (277 pieces) and treated myself to FOUR golden Djinn Oshannus for a total of 288$.

Theoretically, I have my first legendary goldfoil card at maximum level! But I won't combine the quadruplets for the time being. Even if they give around 2500 CP more when combined, it makes more economic sense to rent them out individually. At maximum level, fewer players want to rent them, so they are only offered for a paltry 250 DEC. But for a level 2 card you currently get 100 DEC per day. That makes 400 DEC, i.e. a total of over 60 cents per day!** You can live well on that.

I won't be using the Djinn myself for the time being. I don't have a good Water Splinter deck, and even if I did, I'd have a hard time bringing in 400 DEC a day over the 10% extra DEC when I win. As a landlord, it's much more relaxing.

Whether it's a good investment remains to be seen. I think the price of the card will go down even further for now, unless there is suddenly a new Splinterlands hype like last year. I don't want to go into this speculation against Splinterlands. Things always turn out differently than expected.

In the long run, I think it will be worth it. In less than a year, all copies of Djinn Oshannus will have been printed, and if the number of players remains the same or grows, the price will inevitably rise. After all, the card is very popular and also very strong.

Which legendary cards of the Reward and Chaos Legion Edition do you find best? And do you already own them?
