How to Buy LVL

First, what is LVL? LVL is a cryptocurrency created to facilitate all the transactions within all the games @saltyreptile (Royal Reptile Studios) will create that are tied to the Hive blockchain. The first game is Psyber-X, a first-person shooter game (FPS) that will be akin to Fortnite meets WarZone by Call of Duty as I understand it.

This is an excerpt from @PsyberX's post:

Players will be unleashed on a cyberpunk city with up to 50vs50 matches, or a free for all. Players will have had to pick their load out before entering into the game. Their load out will widely depend on the amount of weapons/armor they have been able to accumulate so far. Though you can find weapons and armor on the map (Not permanent, as you must have the NFT to be able to use it permanently) there will be many peoples scrounging for the best gear that is available to get on the map. Some players having a bigger advantage, be careful where you step. There will be AI robots (and a giant mech that will be walking the streets...he’s invincible) that are thrown into combat that will be seeking to kill you, so there will be many enemies to be watching out for. As you are able to get the upper hand and start to kill your opponents you will start to unlock kill streaks. Kill streaks will unlock according to their power needed to charge them. Kill streaks will also be NFTs available for purchase through our platform. You will have one life in this combat arena, so make it count, because you will pay to get back in for your revenge.

Currently, LVL is the 9th most traded coin on the Hive-Engine. Based on its track record over the last 2 months, it will likely enter the top 5 in the next few weeks, but this is speculation.

So How Do I Buy It?

If you want to buy LVL, there is a process you'll need to go through to buy it...for now.

As with all coins on the Hive blockchain, LVL can be purchased at Hive-Engine.com. But to buy LVL, you must first have Hive.

How do I purchase Hive?

There are several exchanges that allow you to buy Hive directly.

  1. Bittrex.com allows you to buy Hive with USD, USDT, or bitcoin.
  2. Gate.io allows you to buy Hive from USDT. The next step is to transfer Hive from your exchange of choice to your Hive account. Your Hive account is your user name, like mine is haveyaheard (without the @ symbol). Feel free to send me Hive to test it out...lol

While you can't buy Hive at Coinbase, you can buy another coin, then use Blocktrades to exchange it:

  1. If you have a Coinbase account, you can buy USDT, bitcoin, or a myriad of other coins that can be exchanged for Hive.

  2. If you bought USDT, bitcoin or another coin in order to buy Hive, you can send it to Blocktrades and they will do the exchange for you, sending the Hive coins to your Hive account. You simply enter in the coin you want to exchange for Hive here:

Blocktrades will then give you the receiving address for the coin (in this picture it's USDT). After you've sent your USDT (in this scenario) to the address Blocktrades gives you, it can take a few minutes, but you'll find the Hive in your Hive account.
That's just an example of a transaction I found where blocktrades was used.

Once you see the Hive is in your account, I recommend using BeeSwap to Convert your Hive to Swap.Hive. BeeSwap only charges 0.25% to make the changeover. You can also use LeoDex, but I've never tried it. I believe LeoDex also only charges 0.25% to convert from Hive to Swap.Hive.

Once you have converted your Hive to Swap.Hive, you can now use either LeoDex or the Hive Engine to buy LVL.

To buy LVL, simply click on the "Lowest Ask" number and it will pre-populate the "Buy Price." Next, enter the quantity you wish to buy. If you want to use all your Swap.Hive, you'll simply click on your balance. This will fill in the quantity for you. Then, click "Buy LVL." If you get an error, it's because the Hive-Engine has rounded your last digit up. All you need to do is remove the last digit and this quite often remedies the problem. You can always round down to the nearest coin and that should take care of it, too.

You'll need to use your password (key) or the Hive Keychain extension to approve the transaction, but this is fairly easy too. If you find yourself hung up at this point, reach out to anyone here on Hive and we'll be happy to help. You can also find us on discord here: Discord
