I never thought about backing up my Hive account but recently started to think about it seriously. You may ask why do a backup of contents which exists in the blockchain, which is the safest possible way to store contents online ever invented. Or so we are told. Just the same as we are told that Hive is free of any censorship, well, except the fact that all available frontends are using blacklists by default. And what is a blacklist if not… censorship. After HF24 my confidence in Hive dropped again. It's the same story that repeats itself over and over again. Hive developers are not able to upgrade the network without breaking something at the same time. They have demonstrated this inability before and they have demonstrated their inability to learn from previous experiences. This of course quickened the fall of Hive rate (which is falling anyway). I guess it takes a lot of confidence to put your trust in such a venture. Why should anybody still have such confidence? So, as I invested lot of time and effort in producing contents I started to look for ways how to do a backup of my Hive posts. Any ideas?
