I was disappointed

After previously being whitelisted for the NFT Showroom, I had already tokenized a number of my artworks. But to my disappointment, no one had bought a work from me in the past month. That demotivated me, not to continue with what I like. But to also tokenize the works I made. I thought it a waste of my hard-earned hive to tokenize more if no one was interested in buying it. You probably recognize it… You earn hive with difficulty, you spend that to tokenize a work of art that you are proud of, and then it is there and nobody seems to appreciate your work enough to buy it. And of course I'm realistic enough to understand that it's hard to sell for everybody. And YES I could have chosen to lower my price … but I didn't want that. After all, a painting has a minimum value for me and I don't want to sell below that. The crowd may have a different opinion on that… that is allowed. LOL!

Stick to the plan

Anyway, as @jjb777 always reminds me "STICK TO THE PLAN!" I didn't want to use even more hard-earned Hive if no one was going to buy anything, because I have a different goal for my Hive. I don't want to miss the #lbi train, so I need Leo. Because I then replied to @trumpman's post where he promised his support to people who want to get 1000 leopower, he supports them if they don't do a leo powerdown in the meantime, I absolutely want to stick to that. I want to reach 1000 leopower, so I also do the powerup with the leo that I earn by posting. That is the deal, and I stick to the plan.

But I want LBI too

But in order to get Leo's to buy at least a little bit of LBI, I have to come up with another way. That's where Hive comes into play… Because with my earned Hives I can of course buy Leos.

Once more trying to tokenize a work of art

And so I decided to give it another try to see if maybe my last work of art would be bought by someone after all. My thought was : If I don't try it, I will for sure not sell it ...

Misty Morning

So yesterday I tokenized the following work. A digital painting made in Krita. It's called "Misty Morning". There are still two editions of this artwork for sale, and a few others. I withdrew one artwork from the shop as I maybe have some other plans for that one.

A place from my memories with Rowan

And this place is a place from my memories… The village where I used to live when Rowan was still a puppy had a park that I loved to walk through with Rowan. And there was a water where there was usually a rowboat. Super restful, and often Rowan and I just sit there for a while and dream away. Dreaming of better times. We enjoyed the colors of the trees, the change of seasons and we were together. Rowan and I… I have tried to create an atmosphere through the colors that is soothing. Because that is what Rowan and I experienced together there. Rest and peace.

Waking up to see ... the first edition is sold

This morning when I woke up I was very happy to see that one of the three editions I had tokenized has now actually been sold. Thank you @brofundholdings for purchasing the first edition of the “Misty Morning”.

Bought leo and did a leo power up

This gives me the opportunity to buy Leo from my Hive, which I have already done. And since I didn't earn this Leo from posting, I'm keeping this liquid so I can buy LBI from it on December 7th. And a power up with the Leo that I had earned by posting has now also been done… this way I don't have to break my promise to @trumpman. And that's the great thing about a community like this. We all help each other through things like this!

My weekend has started well… I hope everyone has just such a great weekend.
