CRYPTOCURRENCY IS COMING TO ENGLISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Should it be a great news for football fans / supporters as English football league is embracing crypto currency?, while for me as a crypto enthusiast this is great news for an of course it is marvellous in thy sight. As the crypto community begins to break all protocol amidst the back lashing from different bodies trying to put an hauled to the whole process or trying to control the decentralized community which haven’t been successful when last I checked.

Seeing the news of an English club being purchased by crypto currency is a great deal for me because gradually we are trying to adapt to the use of these digital properties, with investors like Peter McCormack who is a Bitcoin holder, having just purchased a tier 10 English football team Bedford FC with high hopes that they will make it to premier league. It would be great to have a club that is built on crypto currency where the club expenses will be in crypto currency if not totally all are day to day expenses but I am very positive that Bedford will add Bitcoin to their balance sheets same as MicroStrategy.

In a tweet yesterday, Peter McCormack explained the ways in which he will get the local sports club premier league ready which I went through he’s agenda which are of good prospects. I hope these regulatory bodies see this as a welcoming idea rather than trash it. In the same vain the WAGMI club which it’s ownership comprises of NFT collectors, crypto currency enthusiasts looking forward to owning a club in the lower tier in which its mode of operations will be decentralized. Having holders with club tokens vote for their start up eleven(11) every week. If this tends to happen the question of if the club survives or dies solely depends on the pockets of investors.

With the adaptation of the Web 3.0 technology the club will be able to create communities based on different interest which is derived from a pool, this gives the supporters a variety of communities to join as it interests them. In the coming years I will see the adaptation of crypto currency in the sports universe where player transfer fees are paid in crypto or tickets to watch the game are paid using the club token, I definitely see it coming maybe no sooner than expected but soon.

With the big league teams in premier league in likes of Manchester United , Manchester city has individually released their club tokens tho I really don’t know it’s use case as of writing this article I am currently doing a research on it same goes for the Spanish side teams Lazio, PSG fan tokens have also been released I would hope to see these fan tokens properly used in transactions as regards the team so it can gain more popularity amidst sport fans and spectators.
