100 Days Of LeoFinance

I have been an active, contributing, engaging and passionate Lion for 100 days and I have accomplished a handful of things I never thought would be possible for a random person from Sweden. While these things couldn't have happened without the amazing support from the LeoFinance community, I haven't been handed things on a silver platter for free. What I have accomplished during these 100 days proves that anyone can be successful on LeoFinance as long as you are committed, willing to go that extra mile and as long as you are working hard. To celebrate me being a 100 day old Lion, I figured I would talk about some of the things I have accomplished during this time.

I have been one of the top authors on LeoFinance since I joined, so I have been a top author three months in a row and I managed to secure a spot within the leaderboards during my first month in only 16 days. That alone is a remarkable and almost unbelievable achievement and I am obviously very satisfied and extremely thankful for all the generous and amazing support and feedback.

However, I am not just being handed things for free like I stated above. I spend time on LeoFinance, and even though I haven't been able to spend as much time these past few weeks as I did when I first joined, I still try to be as active as I can.

During these 100 days, I have published a total of 73 articles. 25 of those articles have been picked by the LeoFinance curators, so I have been put in the "Curator's Picks" and often been showcased on the frontpage. These 73 articles have also generated 82 reblogs in total.

1620 is the total number of comments on my 73 articles, which gives me an average of ~22.19 comments per article I have published. My own replies to comments within my articles are included in that number.

  • Not bad for someone who's writing and sharing content in their second language.

My 73 articles have paid out (with pending payouts included) a total of 4405.21 LEO. Only 5 out of my 73 articles have paid out less than 10 LEO and 14 of them have reached payouts of more than 100 LEO tokens. This does not include rewards for comments I have made or curation rewards.

Authors and curators split the rewards equally, so I keep 50% of the total rewards:

That is 2202.60 LEO.

At the current price of 0.442 USD per LEO, the total amount of LEO tokens I have earned during these 100 days equates to 973.55 USD. That's 9.7 USD per day for using "social media". I have never earned a single cent from Facebook, Twitter or any of the other traditional social media platforms out there and getting ~$10 worth of LEO tokens per day on average is incredible to say the least.

$9.7 USD per day equates to ~$293 USD per month.

Zuckerberg, give me $10 per day and I might activate my Facebook account again. Give me another $10 per day and I might even create an Instagram account.

Pushing LeoFinance To The Top

During these 100 days, I have also been able to put LeoFinance.io on top of Google for a specific keyword, or search phrase. I have shared articles in various topics for educational purposes and to inspire and motivate others to optimize their content.

I do this in an attempt to grow the overall traffic towards LeoFinance, but also because I truly believe that organic traffic is a vital piece of this puzzle. I haven't seen any real focus on SEO previously and I have been on the blockchain for 4+ years, ever since the Steemit days, so I think it's about time to change things.

On top of that, I have started to use both Twitter and Publish0x more actively, even though I have just started. I have published 3 articles on Publish0x, containing links to LeoFinance, and those 3 articles have been viewed 456 times in total so far. That gives us some extra potential for more exposure.

Future Goals And Plans

In one of my previous articles, about my 'Financial Goals For 2021', I stated that one of my goals for this year is to reach 10,000 LEO. It's a long way to 10K LEO from my current 2.7K, but that goal still remains. It's not the end of the world if I don't reach that goal, but aiming for it will make things easier for me along the way. I am sure of that. I think I'll make things even "better" for me by having 3000 LEO as the first milestone and 5000 LEO as the next milestone after that. That will help me to see the progress I make easier, even during rough times.

So, while I have decided where my next stop is in terms of LEO stake, I have a handful of plans that I hope will help me on my way getting there. However, the most important part for me is not my personal results or my own stake, even though I obviously love all the support.

What's more important to me, is the overall growth of LeoFinance. That is why I do the things I do. That is why I am vocal about proper marketing, optimization and evergreen content. I want us to succeed and LeoFinance has given us the perfect opportunity. I will seize that moment and make the best out of it. My personal gains and results will increase and improve over time regardless.
