I have been talking a lot about search engine optimization lately. As someone who truly believes that Hive in general would benefit tremendously by organic traffic, and as someone who knows how valuable optimization is for growth, I became somewhat obsessed when the hype-train came in like a hurricane on LeoFinance roughly a week ago.

When my posts got welcomed with awesome comments, great input and terrific conversations along with fantastic results in terms of new followers, reblogs and upvotes, it was really hard to let go. In fact, it was so hard to let go, that I decided to hold on for as long as I could, and that's the reason for this post.

  • I want to continue due to the amazing energy surrounding the subject.

It started out with "LeoFinance & Hive Growth With Optimized Content". I talk about optimization, traffic and growth and that we want traffic that converts. This was received very-well by the community and it seems to have given @khaleelkazi a couple of ideas.

"This gives me a few ideas. I wonder if there’s something we can do to have an “SEO specialist” pull a list of good potential SEO content from https://leofinance.io each week and then reach out to the authors who wrote them - giving them a new draft of their article with keywords added, etc. that would supercharge it. What do you think?" - Khal

My next article was "Would You Edit And Make Changes..", which was entirely created out of the ideas I got from my previous post..

Next on the list, we have "Going Back In Time To Stay Fresh For Search Engines!" where I basically told people that I had decided to go back and edit some of my older posts.

Then we have "Organic Traffic Takes Time - Continue To Build To Improve and Strengthen The Rankings.", which was a short post I decided to publish because of something one of my new followers had written. He thought he had done something wrong, so I wanted to tell him and others how things really where.

After that came "How To BOOST Traffic To LeoFinance And Hive", probably one of my personal favorites out of these posts I have published recently. This post did not get the attention I first thought it would get, but I have more to say on the subject so I'll just continue until I get everything out.

The next post was the weekly report I publish on Mondays. "The Keywords That Brings Most Organic Traffic To LeoFinance.io! (Week #34)" nothing much in terms of engagement here, but these reports have never been about starting converstations. These are published so others can use them for inspiration, new ideas and to keep up with the overall growth of things.

My last two posts where "Put My Money Where?! - LEO, Hive, HBD Or What?", where I just briefly mentioned that I didn't knew if I would stick with staking LEO or if I should put my HBD rewards in savings. Average Growth Rate = 13+ LEO Per Day(!), the most recent post I have published is where I basically tell people that I have decided to stick with my initial plan. To buy LEO tokens for my HBD rewards until I reach a certain LEO goal I have.

  • There we have it. One week's worth of posts.

I have also been more active lately in terms of engagement. I have made more comments and I am striving to be more active in general and when I thought about that, or I don't know, somewhat realized it, I also started to think about my next post (this one) in my head. I also started to think about my next moves in general. What I want to do and where I'm going with all of this..

I have already covered this and that. I have talked about the importance of organic traffic, optimization and I have talked about rankings. I have showed people that optimization works, that you can bring organic traffic to LeoFinance by following a few steps and I have showed everyone that Hive in general can grow and reach heights we've never seen before. It starts with LeoFinance and the existing content creators. We can basically move mountains with this and reach heights that one could only dream of a year ago.

We have dozens of amazing content creators on LeoFinance. We have plenty of them on Hive. Some of them are focusing on making outward facing content and others are making inward facing content. We need both types of content and I have previously explained why. Outward facing content to reach new people and inward facing content to keep the current ones.

  • It's that simple.

A post I made roughly 10 months ago, "How Often Should You Buy And Sell Crypto?" is still bringing in traffic from Google. 30 page views the last 30 days. It's nothing life-changing in any way, but I know that I can rank content. I know that I can pull in traffic from search engines and I also know that more traffic leads to growth.

Engagement is vital to keep existing users, and also to attract outsiders. People are intrigued and interested whenever there seems to be a lot going on. Engagement means that there are active people around and is obviously something very valuable for any outsider who's thinking about joining in on all the fun.

Long story short, optimized content is crucial for growth but engagement is also vital. Social signals on top of that, will help us with both. It will help us in terms of rankings & traffic but it will also help us to point people to the direction of active people.

I want to drive traffic. I want to point people in the right direction. I want to push people towards LeoFinance and Hive and I want to aim for growth. While the majority of the posts I actually publish is inward facing content, I often do these posts in an attempt to inspire, motivate and educate people in one way or another. I am trying to somewhat pave the way for others, but I also know that I would have greater results, in the long haul, if I focused more on outward facing content instead.

  • We would grow in a faster pace if I focused on outward facing content.

I obviously don't mean that we would rapidly grow or that my content would boost our growth in amazing ways, because it wouldn't. None of that would happen, but if I produced outward facing content and ranked it on search engines, someone would find it, sooner or later.

  • That's how winning is done!

I am likely to help @finguru with @leoseo in some way, we haven’t talked about details or anything like that, but I am always open for suggestions and I love to help out with whatever I can, when I can.

However, even though I know what my next steps are and will be, I need your help as well. I want you to like- share and spread the word about LeoFinance by simply sharing content on Twitter. Also, when you see others sharing Leo-content on Twitter, make sure to like it and/or retweet it. That will help with visibility, rankings and growth over time as well.

Make this a regular habit and we will find ourselves on new heights in the near future. It starts with you, me and every other content creator you find on LeoFinance and Hive.

Day One Instead Of One Day.
