The 1UP-Cartel is a mix between a gaming guild like YGG (that invests into gaming assets and creates scholarships for gamers, sharing the gaming revenue), a dividend token (similar to BRO, LBI, INDEX and UTOPIS, paying out regular dividends to token holders from part of the revenue stream)
I knew that I needed to secure a spot quite early in the Praetoria Cartel project and growing in bits till I get positioned for a sustainable and tangible passive earning as we break into 2022. I sent in 50 SWAP.HBD and that was my payment for my first 5 CARTEL holdings.
75,000 CARTEL in circulation and the first 25,000 to be offered via over-the-counter sale from $10. I'm certain that in the next 30 days, each CARTEL should be worth $50 or more with the huge benefits and returns it promises the 1UP community and holders.
I cannot catch up with amazing updates in Hive ecosystem. Here is another great project that I learned thanks to our author. Cartel Oneup is likely to get hyped in a short period of time if this great post goes viral π For those who love blockchain-based gaming, the cartel token (being a shareholder) will be too attractive to go against π
Never wrote a piece of anything in my life! Or at least not in English! Never had a blog, never wrote anything anywhere, this was not my thing at all! I completely stepped out of my comfort zone with this one and I'm very proud about myself because of it!
My main language is Italian, when I moved to UK in 2016 I started studying English from scratch and when I signed up on Hive I made the decision to post content exclusively in English to boost my learning of the language.
This chain is much more than the rewards it drops for the posts, if you're here only for the rewards then go fuck off to other social chains because here we do try to make the chain(world lol) a better place! (At least IMHO, I see so much potential here and so many good projects just in infancy! I'm gonna stick around and see what the future will bring us!)
There is something exceptional for Hive... It attracts people who take a glance at it even once. Here you can see a nice post by a Hiver that joined us in 2021. What's good about our community is the way people start thinking in a similar way to live in Hive ecosystem. Though the major incentive is the rewarding system of the platform, it has always been put into the second or third position after the engagement and development.

HBD Savings now has an increased interest rate from 10% to 12%, excellent news for all those who have decided to deposit their HBDs in Hive's dedicated wallet and enjoy the passive income that will be distributed to us on a daily basis.
Despite the interesting increase, to attract further investors outside the community, it will probably be necessary to intervene again on the upside, even up to reaching 20%. With such a high interest many users will initiate a conversion of HIVE-> HBD and this will have a double effect: increasing the liquidity of HBD and reducing circulating HIVE.
Are you enjoying %12 APR for HBD in your savings? I've been doing it for a long while since the very first time when the interest was initiated. To be honest, we should do our best to increase the use of HBD as a stablecoin to preserve the Hive locked in it. Even more attempts can be done to create more liquidity pools and higher interest rates (maybe?) to create a real stablecoin that can be used for around $1. I hope the allocation of HBD will be increased to lock more Hive + get a stable coin ^^
Initial peek at the 2nd round of Polkadot Crowdloans by @bengy
So, the first round of 5 Polkadot parachain leases have now been finalised in the auctions over the last few weeks... which means that we start to get into the really interesting projects, as the heavyweights have generally filled the first five spots. We are now looking at smaller and medium sized projects that might bring some really interesting ideas to the Polkadot (and blockchain in general) ecosystem.
the 5 parachain slots of the first round of auctions went generally to DeFi/Finance protocols... which is a bit of a disappointment. I was hoping that at least one of the slots would go to something more infrastructure related, as that is more my sort of interest. Still, the opportunity is there for the second round to produce something a bit more interesting than this current first batch! That said... I did back three of these five, so I don't have any real complaints here! Just that I need to now figure out how the token distribution works...
Are you in Polkadot ecosystem? Sad to admit that I nearly have no idea about Polkadot, Solana and Terra blockchains due to my busy lifestyle... However, I'm sure that there are thousands of people who are in Polkadot to feel great about these projects mentioned by the author. While there are some great competitors in the list,
Crust is decentralised storage... another infrastructure project that has competitors in FileCoin, SiaCoin and many other "proof-of-storage" type projects.

What's The Difference Between Airdrops And "The Printer Goes Brrr"? by @dragosroua
There are costs associated with holding something. We live in an attention-hungry world, and the mere fact that I spend my attention on something carries some value. If I spend my attention in something not worthy, then I already lose stuff. It's called "opportunity cost". Instead of watching a newly born country, I can keep my attention on other countries, with a proven track record, and focus on increasing my portfolio there, making sure I am not missing opportunities.
But as the attention economy keeps growing, it will become increasingly difficult to keep your attention on all these countries. Every new country will ask for some attention from you: to get the tokens, to delegate them, to secure them, to verify their status, etc. We are not there yet, but I believe there is a certain threshold after which holding tokens is simply not worth the time. You, as a holder, can't spend even those minutes every week to check on the charts, news and numbers, and the fact that you're not actively maintaining interest will eventually extract any existing value (as little as it is) from the tokens.
This is a mind-opening post that will help you realize the differences between the airdrop (to increase use cases, to grab attention or to create market) and money printing. Actually this post will help you understand where does valuation of things come from. To great extent, people and their money appetite make them create and collapse monetary system where they may make some bucks. However, once this becomes a paradigm like once airdrop mania in crypto, then it turns into something "dangerous" π .
