Saturday Savers Club Progress #week 23 - 27/08/22 - Ready for HPUD, bought DEC and had gains in FUN and ALIVE.

Its week 23 of my savings focus, working with the Saturday Savers Club which I think is a great Hive community initiative.

Weekly Progress Summary:

Its been an average week on the posts/HIVE/HBD side of things, and a good week on the layer 2 side,
I bought 20 HIVE worth of DEC (+13280) due to the noise around DEC returning to its peg, hence an increase is expected. The aim is to sell it when I get a decent gain, and if I dont then I'll spend it on splinterlands rental cards (win-win in my book),
My 7 day author rewards was +70HP down compared to last weeks cracker of +168HP, but above my moving average of +65HP - so an average week really !
My curation rewards was +0.90HP so a little up compared to last weeks +0.81HP,
I had a couple of nice layer2 increases; +90 ALIVE mostly due to competitions, and +573 FUN due to the airdrop,
My 30 day moving average LEO income generation stands at +3.75 (112/month) so up from +3.43/day (103/month) last week, and I already have good liquid LEO in hand ready for next LPUD, and I've continued to increase my HP delegation to @leo.voter, so that will continue to grow,
My renewed focus on Splinterlands rental is good well. My weekly income has increased again as I continue to buy more cards. Its still a small amount, but I gain enough weekly to buy new cards weekly, and splexGG golem is helping to optimise rental income - I'm really enjoying playing with this at the moment !,
For fun I looked at my 12 week gains from the past, and of the coins I monitor (those in the table below), I have actually gained 60% of what I have just in the last 12 weeks, which is quite incredible, which means my gain rate is growing. I also checked the gain in the last 4 weeks and it was 19.5% - so pretty good to be honest.

Key highlights were:

Added +43 HP, for a total of 1556 HP - so I'm looking well on target to break my annual goal of 2000 HP by the end of the year,
I bought 19 more splinterlands rental cards,
I also gained +0.15 EDS, +0.32 DHEDGE, +2.16 ARCHON, + 75 WOO, +4 PIZZA, +0.031 ALIVEM, +74 CTP, +42 LOLZ, +201 DEC (just from rentals), +112 SPT, +1 SPS and +33 LEO via staking, giveaways, passive income and or tips - who doesnt love synergy and compound interest !

Plan for the coming week

With the price of HIVE so low I'll keep trading any HBD payouts to HIVE and hold a decent amount as liquid HIVE for buying back into HBD when the price of HIVE rises (closer to $1+). When I get a HBD payout I tend to a set HBD sell point below current price (anywhere from $0.03 to $0.15 below), and then have a number of HIVE sell points to buy back in to HBD if the price begins to recover (starting at about $0.65) - this helps to catch fluctuations, and also theoretically means I'm always getting a better trade rate for anything I get, rather than just doing it at current price,
After each Listnerds post payout, I withdraw 10% of my total balance, and from tomorrow I started getting a weekly payout (due to the 10 week unstaking process, as I started withdrawing weekly, 10 weeks ago). I'll be using that weekly payout to invest in other layer 2 coins, as per the table above - focusing on the lines that I havent hit in the current near term targets (lines that are still white), or Splinterlands rental cards,
My primary short term goal remains on LEO for LPUD, I want to get to the position where I get the 200 needed each month without purchasing form the market (I'm just over half way there - but looking in a good position for next months LPUD already),
My secondary short term goal remains on delegating HP to @leo.voter for extra daily LEO income,
I've not set a tertiary goal this week,
I'm making sure I make better use of tags in relevant posts where I can, with a focus on #archon, #alive (#aliveandthriving), #lolz, #fun, #gamer, #battle and #ctp - as I have stakes in these,
I will also reinvest DEC each week to buy more splinterlands rental cards, to hopefully have a steady increase in my Splinterlands rental income.

Oh - and its HPUD again next Thursday (has it really been another month already ?) - I've got liquid HIVE at the ready, so will be joining that as per usual.
