Saturday Savers Club Progress #week 32 - 29/10/22 - Bought VOUCHER and had some nice gains in WOO and SPT

Its week 32 of my savings focus, working with the Saturday Savers Club which I think is a great Hive community initiative.

Weekly Progress Summary

  • My Hivestats weekly author reward were around +45 HP which is below my 12 week rolling average HP weekly income of 58.9 HP - but enough to keep me on track for my year end 2500 HP target, as I need 44.11 HP per week, so happy with that,
  • My hivestats weekly curation reward was around + 1HP lower than last weeks +1.3 HP, but OK,
  • I added +46 HP to bring my total to 2103 HP - so making good progress to the year end target of 2500 HP. Also I've had some very good post numbers this week, which will mean great payouts next week,
  • My 30 day moving average LEO income generation stands at +8.02 LEO (240/month) which is up again and remains above my target of generating +6.66/day which will bring in 200/month. I've just a little more HP to delegate to @leo.voter to support that through dips and I'll be happy - should be able to complete that next week,
  • I am continuing to focus on Splinterlands DEC income through card rental and pools. I bought one more card, won a few others in giveaways, but have not contributed to the pool this week,
  • The Hive:DEC pool is currently reporting a nice 50.33% APR and HIVE:VOUCHER is at 77%. I have added to the VOUCHER pool this week, and I'm starting to see the effect of this, with increasing weekly SPS gains - its small at the moment, but its passive, and it all adds up,
  • WOO staking has gone up again to 156% which is great !!!.

Key highlights were

  • I had a major win on a WOO giveaway for +1000 WOO, plus a few other smaller giveaways, so my overall weekly WOO gain was +1242 - which is a heck of a lot for me ! And with WOO staking so high, my total of 2690 is bringing in just over 10 WOO per day now, so thats really nice !
  • I also had a really big SPT payout this morning for a weekly total of +3570 SPT which is great. I'm not sure why I had the payout yet - still working on that one !,
  • I broke the 1000 mark for FUN, and now have 1027 FUN,
  • I had better than average weekly increases for me on DHEDGE, WOO, ALIVEM, CTP, LUV, LOLZ, VOUCHER, SPT, SPS and LEO,
  • I gained +0.24 EDS, +0.33 DHEDGE, +2.85 ARCHON, +4 PIZZA, +31 ALIVE, +0.077 ALIVEM, +69 CTP, +24 LUV, +10 PGM, +47 LOLZ, +76 FUN, +3 SPS and +51 LEO via staking, giveaways, passive income, curation and or tips - who doesnt love synergy and compound interest !

So on the whole its been quite a good week indeed !

Weekly Plan Changes

  • Have added a column to the right side of the table which states whether my income on that line item was better than my 12 weekly rolling average income or not, in the week,
  • Have added a new section to this weekly update that provides a review and focus to the approach being taken on one line item - and will just rotate through each line item, in order - so one focus piece per week.

Weekly focus item - HIVE Power

  • My progress has been good, but the majority of my HP is delegated to provide LEO income (which in itself is good). However that means my curation rewards are low. So once I complete my delegation target for LEO income (end of next week) I will then focus on building up HP that I dont delegate to increase curation rewards. I'm doing this for 2 reasons:
  • 1 - To increase my own weekly curation rewards,
  • 2 - Lots of people support my posts, but I feel that I cant return the favour as well as I could as my upvotes dont count for a lot, so it will be nice to have a higher amount of HP undelegated, and hence to be able to reward good posts with a better upvote.

Main Targets - No change from last week (although I expect to complete the primary target next week)

  • Primary - Growing HP and delegating it to @leo.voter to increase my daily LEO income with the aim of gaining +6.66 HP per day which would give the 200 LEO needed each month for LPUD. I know I'm showing above that, but I just one more more week to go to solidify that and it will be complete,
  • Secondary - Adding funds to the HIVE.SWAP:DEC pool to grow daily DEC income to help fund new splinterlands cards in order to grow my rental income. My current income target for this is +100 DEC/day - I'm at about the 48 DEC/day mark, so have quite a bit to go,
  • Tertiary - Investing into the SWAP.hive:VOUCHER liquidity pool to increase daily SPS income.

Plan for the coming week

  • I am finding that if I try to work on too many main targets at a time that I spread myself and my investment too thin - so I'll keep working on just 2-3 at a time, and get them to where I need them to be before I move onto new targets - and not get distracted by other projects, card pack offers, etc, etc,
  • To make atleast one post each day to ensure a daily income of HIVE/HBD,
  • Continuing to keep active in #leofinance to provide additional LEO income, including trying to make at least one thread per day,
  • With the price of HIVE so low I'll keep trading any HBD payouts to HIVE and be prepared for buying back into HBD when the price of HIVE rises (above $1+). I'll also continue to trade between HIVE and HBD. I have HBD sell orders in the range $0.42 to 0.46.5, and HBD buy orders in the range $0.53 to $0.80 - this helps to catch any spikes/dumps in HIVE or HBD including when I'm not online,
  • After each Listnerds post payout, I withdraw 3% of my total balance, and now have a weekly income stream that I sell and use to invest in other layer 2 coins and projects,
  • I'm making sure I read mail and vote for the ones I like each day n Listnerds in order to increase CTP gains. At the moment I'm keeping those gains within Listnerds in order to grow the daily CTP income I get from that voting,
  • I'm making sure I make better use of tags in relevant posts where I can for better curation payouts, with a focus on #archon, #alive (#aliveandthriving), #lolz, #fun, #gamer, #battle, #pgm and #ctp - as I have stakes in these,
  • I'm being a little more active in a number of specific tribe blogging interfaces to help increase my income from those tokens (eg, #meme, #ctp, etc),
  • I am now starting to delegate all LEO Power to provide a passive LEO income from that as well - I'm still in the process of choosing the final provider for that, although @india-leo is looking pretty good as they payout 100% of all curation income to delegators,
  • To delegate any remaining layer2 tokens I can to LOLZ or the cartel so that they are being put to work to earn some additional income,
  • I have started looking into RC delegation and started a trial delegation to @youarealive - but it makes sense to put any spare RC to work.

And a big reminder - its Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) on Tuesday the 1st of Nov (how quickly has that come round !!).
