Saturday Savers Club Progress #week5 30/04/22 - Added more HP, ALIVE, LOLZ, UTOPIS and DHEDGE

Its week 5 of my savings focus, working with the Saturday Savers Club which I think is a great community initiative.

Weekly Progress Summary:

I made good progress this week and had some decent payouts from blog posts. And although the price of HIVE was low, I used some liquid HIVE to buy some extra layer 2 coins that were at good prices. I also converted most of my output from Rising Star into HIVE this week, taking advantage of the high STARBITS price versus the low HIVE price. So I've got a good amount of liquid HIVE building up for when the price improves (goes back above $1).

Key highlights were:

  • Added 35.853 HIVE Power (towards my secondary target for the week),
  • Added 175 ALIVE (towards my primary target for the week),
  • Added another 97 LOLZ (towards my tertiary target for the week),
  • Bought some Utpois (+2.82) and Dhedge (+70) because prices were good.

I've made a few changes to the table layout:

  • I've split HP & HBD into a separate table as they are quite related, which also then keeps all of the layer 2 coins together,
  • I've added an 'APR/APY' column to help identify better performing gains to help with investment decision making. Its not all filled in, but I'll aim to do that over time.

Weekly Plan Changes:

  • Changed the 100HP I had delegated to qurator to lolzbot to give me an extra Lolz daily payout (at 10% equivalent - noting qurator was giving around 6.53%) - noting that Lolz is a key target for me at the moment (I'm chasing their staking payout which you get at 512 LOLZ),
  • I added a line to the plan for SPS, noting the 24.51% staking payout it has,
  • I added a line to the plan for LEO - as it seems to have a decent daily payout.

Plan for the coming week:

  • While HIVE is below $1, I'll be mostly accumulating it where I can and keeping some liquid so that I can then buy a number of layer 2 coins and some HBD when it goes above $1, however,

  • I will continue to power up some HIVE in the week (which is my secondary short term target),

  • With HIVE below $1 I'll continue to convert any HBD payouts to mostly HIVE during the week, but I will start pushing 5% of those HBD post payouts into HBD savings, as I'd not been doing that of late, and will then increase that figure if the price of HIVE goes back above $1.

  • I've switched my short term primary target to LOLZ as I really want their passive income payouts which kicks in when you hold 512 LOLZ,

  • I've switched ALIVE to my short term tertiary target with the aim of getting to 5,000 ALIVE over the next so many weeks,

  • I'll continue to delegate other layer 2 coins to LOLZ to help with daily LOLZ payouts for that to help me get to the LOLZ target - noting I'm now above 2,000 so its going well,

  • I'll keep looking in the market for bargains, and if I see any will pick up some other layer 2 coins,

  • And its HIVE Power Up day tomorrow, so with I'll make sure I hit that as I have a decent amount of liquid HIVE at the moment.
