Hello my beautiful readers, it's a great honor to have you stop by today and I do hope you had a great weekend. I've missed a lot right? Yes I have and I wish I didn't but it's totally fine because I know in the end it will all be worth it. But the truth is, if I had been told that I'd become this inactive on hive, I would have rebuked such words, lol but here I am. I know by now a lot of people would be wondering why I am not active and some have taken their time to reach out and I'm really grateful for that.
Always expect so much but be prepared for the worst
For the past year and few months I've spent here on hive, I've been privileged to learn a lot of things that have made me change my mind towards so many things and at some point I will want to say I was kind of addicted to the hive blockchain as well as that what a lot of people said, but I won't really completely agree to that because it was a good thing. I love reading from other authors to learn and then I leave a comment just to make sure I understand what I've read from that author and in some cases I've made comments that was a little bit off but after getting a reply, I get to understand better and trust me when I say that helped me a lot.
The more I spent time on hive, the more I learn new things and that also made me better over time in my life as a blogger. But sadly I had to make the decision to stop what I loved doing so I can achieve another level in my life. No wonder they say success comes when we make sacrifices and if you are yet to make sacrifices, then you might not have achieved the required success (this is relative though). In my case, I had to let go of my activities here on hive so I can focus more on my studies, although as you can see this is not so easy for me because you are reading a post from me right now, lol.
Power up some hive daily
One of the things I do try to keep up with daily is powering up at least one hive daily, so I can keep growing my stake even while I'm not so active here. Powering up daily is not so easy if I'm not earning hive and that's why I also set some accounts on autovote while I also follow some curation trail to make things easier and better for me. I also make out time to do manual curations when I can too and I think this has been helpful for me in also growing my stake. Then I also delegated some of my hive power out to get little liquid hive to help me keep up with powering up.
Saving up at least one HBD daily
Since HBD is a stablecoin, I have also decided to be saving at least one HBD, although there are days when I don't save because I'd prefer to power up liquid hive so I just use the available HBD to purchase hive instead. But I do try my best to save something daily.
Saving up some hive daily
Yeah, I'm also saving up some liquid hive for rainy days, hehe. Especially now that I'm a student I do need this type of savings so I don't bother myself too much financially. Although there are other reasons for saving liquid hive but this is my main reason for saving, hehe.
Leave at least 5 comments daily
This one is now a challenge for me unlike before when I make close to 100 comments daily, some days were even more but now I find it very hard to make just five comments, lol. Well, I do know this is temporary and I won't stop trying to push myself to get it right once again. There are some days when I make just two or three comments and I go offline but I'm working on that.
With these little things I've mentioned here, you can easily contribute your own quota to the growth of hive even while you engage with your busy schedules offline. Although these are what I'm doing but I believe it can also work out well for you too. I've really missed my activities here on hive but as the saying goes, there is time for everything and this time is not the time for me to be so active on hive and I do hope my beautiful readers bear with me and don't forget that I miss you too 🤭.
