A few days ago I mentioned the problem presented by one of the most promising Argentine companies in the crypto universe, I must also say that there is another one that is defying the lousy moment and is expanding in Latin America and also in the United States.

With my great nose for finances, this company called Ripio was the first in which I opened an account, at that time it was a fairly played initiative, there was practically no history of cryptocurrency exchange companies, only a couple to be more precise and there I went. I say great smell because although I still have the account, I hardly use it and I preferred to open another account in Lemon and pour all my expectations into this last one, perhaps obsessed by the backcash, the publicity, the youth, and the drive of its creators and of your outreach team.

Ripio was something quite traditional at that time, if you wanted to buy some cryptocurrency you had to make a transfer from a bank account to a bank account of theirs that was not even called the same, it was something quite disturbing to have to wait until you see the confirmed deposit and just there to make the exchange, I remember that on one occasion the deposit was delayed and my nerves were quite upset. However, I admit that I never had a problem, although I have used it very little as you said.

Now this company has improved a lot and although it still does not have the agility or comfort of a mobile application like the other, apparently they have done things better and instead of shrinking, they are expanding.

It has obtained the approval of the financial regulation office of the state of Florida and will begin to operate there with a product specially designed for companies and institutional investors, providing liquidity in the main crypto assets in the market and in any type of order, according to its managers, it begins with a portfolio of more than six hundred clients based in that active crypto region of the United States.

This authorization is also available for the rest of its platform, so it is assumed that in the short term it will have a comprehensive offer of products and services such as those it already offers in our country, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico.

In these times of "lean years" as my grandmother would say, obtaining that authorization to operate in the state of Florida implies an exhaustive investigation of the financial support of the company and also of its administration, thus demonstrating its solidity, although let's be honest, we all believed that several that have sunk in recent times were rock solid.

I'm not a fan of exchanges at the moment, I just use them as a necessary evil and I think most of those who need fiat funds from time to time feel the same way.

Of course, while we can, we stay in cryptocurrencies and if they can be exchanged directly for goods and services, in an ideal world that would be normal, there is still a long way to go to achieve it.

Unos días atrás mencioné el problema que presenta una de las empresas argentinas que más prometía en el universo cripto, también debo mencionar que hay otra que desafía el mal momento y se expande en América Latina y también en Estados Unidos.

Con mi gran olfato para las finanzas, esta empresa que se llama Ripio, fue la primera en la cual abrí una cuenta, en aquel momento era una iniciativa bastante jugada, prácticamente no había antecedentes de empresas de intercambio de criptomonedas, solo un par para ser más preciso y allí fui. Digo gran olfato porque si bien continúo teniendo la cuenta, prácticamente no la utilizo y preferí abrir otra cuenta en Lemon y volcar todas mis expectativas a esta última, quizás obnubilado por el backcash, la publicidad, la juventud y el empuje de sus creadores y de su equipo de difusión.

Ripio era algo bastante artesanal en aquel momento, si quería comprar alguna criptomoneda debía hacer una transferencia desde una cuenta bancaria a una cuenta bancaria de ellos que ni siquiera se llamaba de la misma manera, era algo bastante inquietante tener que esperar hasta ver el depósito confirmado y recién allí hacer el intercambio, recuerdo que en una oportunidad el depósito demoraba y mis nervios estaban bastante alterados. Sin embargo, admito que jamás tuve un problema, aunque como dijo la he utilizado muy poco.

Ahora esta empresa ha mejorado muchísimo y aunque todavía no tiene la agilidad ni la comodidad de una aplicación móvil como la de la otra, aparentemente han hecho mejor las cosas y en vez de achicarse se expanden.

Ha conseguido la aprobación de la oficina de regulación financiera del estado de Florida y comenzará a operar allí con un producto especialmente diseñado para empresas e inversores institucionales proveyendo liquidez en los principales criptoactivos del mercado y en cualquier tipo de órdenes, según sus directivos comienza con una cartera de más de seiscientos clientes radicados en esa activa región cripto de los Estados Unidos.

Esa autorización también está disponible para el resto de su plataforma por lo que se supone que en el corto plazo tendrá una oferta integral de productos y servicios como los que ya ofrece en nuestro país, Brasil, Colombia y México.

En esta época de “vacas flacas” como diría mi abuela, obtener esa autorización para operar en el estado de Florida implica una exhaustiva investigación del respaldo financiero de la empresa y también de su administración por lo que queda demostrada su solidez, aunque seamos sinceros, todos creíamos que varios que se han hundido en los últimos tiempos eran sólidos como rocas.

No soy un amante de los exchanges y menos en estos momentos, solo los utilizo como un mal necesario y creo que la mayoría de aquellos que cada tanto necesitan fondos en moneda fiat piensan igual.

Por supuesto que mientras podamos nos quedamos en criptomonedas y si se puede intercambiar directamente por bienes y servicios, en un mundo ideal eso sería normal, todavía falta muchísimo para lograrlo.
