First off, what is LeoGlossary?

It is an initiative and a continuing project of TaskMaster and let me quote him on what LeoGlossary is:

"Basically it is using the immutable text storage feature of the Hive blockchain to help create a database of financial and cryptocurrency terms." - Source

I first wrote about LeoGlossary 3 months ago when it just came out. I was so glad that there is a place onchain where I'd refer to when needing some resources related to cryptocurrency, investing and finance. This was a portion of what I have written back then:

And the still applies today. I have since been linking in glossary terms on my articles and some on comments too. To be honest, my LeoFinance post feels naked if there aren't any keywords added in.

So what can LeoGlossary do to LeoFinance ecosystem?

  1. Key Reference Center - To serve as an education or learning center for everyone in the den and of course around the Hive blockchain. I personally call it LeoLibrary or Library Onchain and it's the first place I run to when requiring more info or further understanding on some terms.

  2. Article Optimization - When we as content creators utilize several glossary term links on our posts, it can help in the SEO ranking in the long run especially when we are writing evergreen contents.

  3. Increase Traffic to the community - By providing resources and information and as more content creators add in links to their posts, it will help in generating organic traffic to the LeoFinance ecosystem.

  4. To spice up our posts and comments - By utilizing the keywords and adding their links into our articles and on comments, it will help our readers understand more of what we are talking about especially if they are new in the cryptoverse. It will be quick for them to get into information they needed when we add the links in respective keywords or terms.

So yes, we just need to simply keep linking back the terms from the LeoGlossary pages to our posts and engagements. This is the least we can do to aid in the realization of its purpose in addition to directing or introducing it to others who are still unaware of its existence.

For those who have not been into the LeoGlossary, it has several subsections or sub-pages:

LeoGlossary continues to grow and expand in all directions as TM puts it - in number of terms, the depths of some of the the keywords and new data centers. It will truly be a library onchain - a resource center for finance, crypto, investing and other related data.

Personally, I can readily access the LeoGlossary pages because I had 4 of them on my browser's bookmarks bar. I can just click on them when I need to check something or add some links into my posts.

I have become accustomed to the pages so I know where to go. For instance, when wanting to link in cryptocurrency, I know it is on the main glossary. If I want to add the link to $LEO, I click on LeoFinance Menu Page so it's quick and easy.

I'd recommend doing the same or finding the strategy that works well for you and stick with it. You will then notice that you don't need to spend more time when needing to find something from the pages.

This by the way is my participation to Week 4 of the LEO&HODL Contest which aims to raise awareness of LeoFinance initiatives and products.
