LPUD Milestone: A Newborn Cub (15.10.22)

Being one who gets excited with little things, I could not contain my joy when after doing my LEO Power Up today, I hit some kind of a milestone in my journey here in LeoFinance.

And I somehow wished there was a HiveBuzz badge and notification to mark this occasion.

You know, like that comment one receives when becoming a Minnow or a Dolphin, an Orca and a Whale. And because there isn't any yet, I created one, lol!

I wonder if this can be worked on and added too for the LPUD since this is going to be a continuing event, I think it will be cool to add some more gamification to it. What do you think @leogrowth and you too, lions?

I think it is beneficial in some ways, re:

  • It makes one's achievement or milestone in the LeoVerse more memorable.

  • Helps in spreading awareness to others around Hive who still don't know about LeoFinance and the things that are happening here. These milestone badges will work like a subtle advertisement for LeoFinance.

    I believe some people who see any Leo Finance badge rewards by Hivebuzz through the comment on a post would get curious of how such a badge is earned. And personally, the notifications from Hivebuzz often make me aware of how I'm doing when it comes to my activities in Hive. I think its also the same with others.

  • It adds fun and we do need more of it everyday, right?

Well, just my thoughts anyway and it would be cool if it will happen someday (soon) hehe!

Anyhow, back to Leo Power Up, I staked a thousand LEO today which brought me to the very first level in the Pride Ranks.

The account has crossed over 2k Leo Power which means it is now officially a Newborn Cub. So yehey!

Not that I care much about rankings and stuff, but they do serve as additional push to setting a target and working towards them. As @young-kedar mentioned a few days ago of how he sees the rankings and I quote:

"...like a roadmap of how to navigate the LEOverse, the perks and benefits of unlocking each level... helps in knowing what to focus on and how to go about it."

And I couldn't agree less because it's simply true (at least for me too).

So Happy 5th LPUD everyone! Roar!
