I logged on to my Wax wallet this morning to check what is new. I totally forgot voting guilds weekly and have not done so for quite a while, hence, my staked WAX hasn't earned and my voting power may have "decayed" which means I need to keep voting to increase it back to 1. To avoid the same in the future, I set a proxy to do the voting for me.

WAX Staking Rewards is the voting and rewards system that we’ve designed to increase community participation in the selection of guilds and blockchain improvement proposals.

"WAX Token holders who stake their tokens and then vote with them will earn additional WAX Tokens. These earnings are called WAX Staking Rewards and are issued directly from the WAX Blockchain." - Info Source

So if you have staked WAX and are not voting weekly, you might wanna visit your dashboard and vote or better yet, set a proxy who will vote on your behalf so you will earn Staking Rewards.

NFTHive

After setting myself a proxy, I went exploring the dApps and came across NFTHive which I found to be quite helpful because of the following features:

  • Bulk Tools One can buy, sell, edit and cancel listings all at once. This is very useful especially for those who have a lot of assets and are challenged to check them one by one.

- Categorized WAX NFT Collections I find it easier to navigate NFTs because they are organized according to their type, re: Games, Art, P2E, Collectibles, Profile Pics, WAX VIPs etc and

  • Organized Marketplace One can filter according to categories, listing type, price, mint etc.

- Account Inventory It is pretty straightforward and easy to see what NFTs are in my wallet. Even better that details such as price (median, floor price), quantities sold etc are included in the summaries of each NFT.

Prior to today, I never really paid attention to the NFTs on my wax wallet. I didn't even know that I have placed one NFT for sale until I used NFTHive. While using it, I also found out that I have a VYB NFT hiding in my wallet, lol! This might have been won on a #pob NFT Giveaway many moons ago. Nice to see that the floor price to it is very decent.

In my opinion, NFTHive is a great marketplace and I will be spending a little more time to check NFTs and probably let go of the others that are just sitting in my wax wallet.
