**Not financial advice.

I haven't made it a secret that I've been buying Untamed Summoners.

I maybe haven't given the whole story though.

If you buy cards to rent out there are a lot of great options right now to get an amazing return. None more stable though than Untamed Summoners. Especially when I was buying them for under $5 a month ago.

I now have: 56 Pyre 46 Bortus 48 Wizard of Eastwood 15 Mother Khala 45 Contessa L'ament

I have 16 Drake of Arnak but I don't count those because they don't rent out well.

Of the ones I counted above I have a total of 210 Untamed Rare Summoners.

Why? Two reasons. First, I rent every last one of these without fail every single day for 34.99 DEC.

210 * 35 = 7350 DEC in just these summoners every single day.

The sad part is there are still people with these up for .1 dec. Like, a whole lot of you. Update your prices!

The second reason is price appreciation. I've been buying these every time I see one below $6 and sometimes anything before $7.

And a few times over the past month prices have really looked like they were going to start moving but one thing has held them back.

There's a single seller (Luteum) who had over 50 of each of these and seems to have a sales bot that just puts one on the market a few times per day at the cheapest price even if he's undercutting himself. So if there's no buying for a bit, 2 or 3 will drop and each one will take the price lower buy some random amount. Then a few people jump in and undercut with two or three copies and now the floor drops again.

But the thing is, this seller is almost out. He has under 10 left of each one and they are all on the market already. Which means, next time the price jumps to over $10 like they did last week, they probably aren't coming back down unless there's a new seller.

The fact that you can still buy most of these cards for under $8 and then go rent them out for 35 DEC is a little insane. The ones of these I bought for under $5 in the last month I'm now making almost 300% on. If you buy them right now with DEC you're still making over 100% APR on them plus they should appreciate since the APR is so good and there aren't more of them coming.

Just price them right!

34.99 dec. That is the price. Anything less is a waste and anything more the bots aren't programmed to rent.

100k new accounts.

The day before yesterday 5000 new accounts signed up while spellbooks remained flat. This was by far the most account creations in a single day in the last 6 months by double. Then yesterday it 20x'd that!

Again, no increase in spellbooks.

I'm not sure what exactly is going on. I would be surprised to find out that any guild in blockchain games is coming in with 100k new players but there have been lots of mentions linking Modern/Wild to attracting guilds. Yabapmatt has mentioned a few times that they don't want to come in and try to compete with alpha card holders.

The largest holder of card assets in the game who recently had an event where they live opened 250k packs of Chaos Legion cards has just been sitting on those cards dormant for months now. They could be making their move.

The other possibility could be that someone is about to bring a lot of accounts live again from the old bot accounts we lost when the rewards system switched over. I'm not sure why they would need new accounts but those spellbook accounts are bulk sold for $2-3. Again, I'm not sure how that would work. I didn't think Spellbooks were transferable but in an even like this maybe they are finding a way.

One way or the other, if these accounts aren't some weird glitch, things are about to get very interesting. adding 100k accounts back to the game could spark an incredible rally in Splinterlands assets.

I'm quite pleased that I've been buying as much as I have durning this downturn.

One thing is for sure. I will be turning into the Town Hall tomorrow.
