The Dead Cat Bounced Over The Moon - It Isn't Going To End Well

BTC hasn't shot the moon yet, though I haven't checked the charts in past few minutes. Still, I've never seen a dead cat bounce so high.

It's almost as if a seasoned Taxidermist cured the cat and filled its inside with rubber. We may have a brand new nursery rhyme in the making here.

What They Said When I First Joined HIVE

The year was 2017 and it wasn't called HIVE. A fact that has little do with the sentiment of the time.

Do you remember what they said?

• They called it the new Tulip craze!

• No Inflation? That's what we call a pyramid scheme!

• Crypto isn't backed by any real value, therefore it's worthless!

The list goes on and on. I've only scratched the surface of the statements made by all the doubters. Feel free to add more in the comments if you feel the desire.

But this was my favorite one...

It Isn't Going To End Well

Truth be told, that's the only thing I heard out of a naysayers' mouth that made any sense at all.

The thing is, they meant it as a negative. As in, don't invest in cryptocurrency because it isn't going to end well.

It's not surprising that the owner of the largest affiliate website building program on the Internet would say such a thing. He had a lot to lose from Steemit back then and even more so with HIVE now.

Movies & Sports End Well...Sometimes

After spending nearly 48 years on this planet, I can tell you this. Not very many things in life end well.

Hollywood & Disneyland sell a different story. I have much more respect for sports. At least in games or matches, half the players involved enjoy the outcome.

If as adults, we don't take some issue with the fairy telling to our children, I have to wonder where humanity is headed.

Perhaps young Kyle was suggesting that Crypto was starting a financial war. One that wouldn't end well for BTC or anyone involved. He probably feared (and likely still does) that it would lead to real war.

My hunch? Kyle's greater fear was Crypto's ability to take a large bite out of his business. And so there is a war. But the way I see it, there always was one.

Most things don't end well, especially in war. But if there's one thing in life that may have the chance to end war (or at least stifle it), it's cryptocurrency.

One thing is guaranteed. Like sports, crtpocurrency isn't going to end well for everybody. There will be losers and winners.

Fairy tales won't help the naysayers much when the dead cat bounces over the moon.
