In this post we'll analyze the latest news on the companies in which I am invested based on my current active portfolio holdings and we'll make some reactions on those. There might be good news, there might be bad news and the reactions might be in relation to that or to a wider view on where those will take me.

So let's see the news for the week of 9th of November 2020 for the stocks in my portfolio.

1.United Airlines (AAL) News: American Airlines (AAL) posted a loss (excluding 83 cents from non-recurring items) of $5.54 per share for third-quarter 2020. Airline Stocks Gain on Vaccine News.
Reaction: A potential vaccine revived a little bit AAL and hopefully 2021 it will be the year to really lift of and get back to business as usual.

2.Apple Inc. (AAPL) News: Apple (AAPL) Powers New Mac Products With its First M1 Chip.
Reaction: Will hold this stock for long term gains.

3.AMNEAL PHARMACEUTICALS, INC. (AMRX) News: No news from previous week. Reaction: Positive earnings after the Q3 reporting, AMRX probably will show its power in the near future.

4.Activision Blizzard, Inc (ATVI) News: The company’s Call of Duty is one of the most popular gaming franchises globally. The company’s expected earnings growth rate for the current year is 51.6%.
Reaction: Positive ROI during the entire investment, leader in gaming industry, a stock to keep.

5.The Boeing Company (BA) News: Company responded very well to a potential vaccine. Reaction: Sold my stock position for a small profit and invested big in NIO.

6.Chevron Corporation (CVX) News: Bounced back lately and shows growth. Reaction: Already on a profit on this, but it is a long term investment waiting to rise greater.

7.NIO Inc. (NIO) News: NIO delivered 12,206 vehicles in the quarter to be reported. The figure exceeded the firm’s guidance and increased 154.3% from the year-ago level. NIO’s battery swap technology is a game changer and is likely to aid the company’s results for the quarter to be reported. Reaction: Moved funds from Boeing to NIO after it hit a new high time of $52 and succeeded to buy in at $44 which I consider a decent entry for the future.

8.Spotify (SPOT) News: Bounced back and had a positive uptrend but didn't kept it too much. Reaction: Still has to deliver, need to expand revenue and increase profits.

The conclusion of the week is of positive signs for my stock portfolio which from -$200.23 on 6th November 2020 closed the week at $315.54 on 13th November 2020, thus regaining more than $500. Unexpected comeback from the overall stocks with an emphasize for NIO which pull everything towards the green side. Hopefully the others will get some traction as well and will turn soon into profit and up from there.
