How naive can we be? If something sounds too good to be true that is because it probably is too good to be TRUE. We always advise our near and dear to avoid suspicious investments or money-making schemes. More often they turn out to be scams. But After reading the entries to the contest It is not that we are naive and fall victim to such a scam, but we are ambitious with our dreams and sometimes get desperate. All the victims did what seems to be the right course of action at that point in time. And I think it is ok, after all, to err is human. And that's who we are. It is important to learn from our mistakes and it's more important to learn from others too. And that was the goal of the contest.

I was sad after reading some of the posts as they were robbed of their hard earn money, and trust. All the entries were the personal experiences of the contestants making them more real and grim. Some of the contestants showed spirit and laughed it off as silly mistakes while others were on high alert as they were robbed by someone they trusted...

Now without taking much of your time let me introduce you to the winner.

The First Place goes to Be Vigilant, Ignorance Is A Disease That Could Lead One To Be Scammed.

Ignorance really is a disease. There is no way around it. Poor @wondex was robbed of his luck. Yes, this incident is about how he won the SQUID token, how it went from “to the moon” to the “crash landing”, and how he lost USD 600.00 to a scammer.

this one really got me because I was ignorant. I had gold in hand and someone told me it is glass and I believed him and gave it to him on a silver platter.

The Second Place goes to MY BUSINESS ALMOST COLLAPSE: I WAS SCAMMED

What gets me in this post is @moremoney28 was robbed of his earning from a job that he did. The worst form of scam that there is. Basically, the client ghosted him after the job is done. You may be wondering why the client is given the service without upfront payment. Well, read the post and find out for yourself.

The Third place goes to I WAS SCAMMED! MY BITTER EXPERIENCE

What would you do if your friend ask for financial help? Of course, you extend your help or support to the person. Because you are a good person. That;s the story of @nkemakonam89 in the process of helping a friend she ended up being robbed by a fraud.

I was having a hard time deciding the winners. Special thanks to @bhattg, @sayee, and @nainaztengra for promoting the contest. I got a total of 27 entries. The list was published in my previous update post. BTW they were also victims of scams. Who knew even strong people can fall for these scammers.
People had been backstabbed by their friends, students who were trying to make something for themselves, housewives trying to help their husband with the economy, and entrepreneur who was just starting a venture. These are good people, I hope life rewards them with something good.
