Why should you pay attention to security in activities on the blockchain?

I never realized that I lost my active key until I tried to do an activity on the blockchain that required an active key.

I just found out that I lost my password. I usually store passwords in other places such as USB and also other safe places, the problem is, if the medium where you store passwords and other sensitive documents are lost, then your history is over.

I want to be active on Hive again and do what I used to do, the point is I no longer have an Active key, all I have is to post keys, which greatly limits my activities.

Finally, I created a new account with the name @adanux. I've also created a less detailed intro post, but I've started using real photos, something I never did before.

A few months after creating a new account, I also couldn't be too active, due to the lack of resource credit I had, and other reasons.

Suddenly I tried to look at my old account on another blockchain, trying everything from posting the key to the active key. The good news is, the password is still the same, isn't this a little scary? Imagine if one of my accounts gets hacked, both of them will have bad things.

Then what steps should be taken?

Change Password.

The password used must be really strong and as attractive as possible, experts recommend creating a password with a length of 13 characters.

Especially with activities in the blockchain world that are said to be unhackable, but theft of crypto assets is still common.

So ending the first post after a long period of inactivity, I want to emphasize the importance of internet security issues, especially for those who transact crypto assets, it feels really sad if the assets you have accumulated for a long time have to move into the hands of irresponsible people.
