En la última semana hemos visto una estrepitosa caída de nuestro token; algo que no deja de sorprendernos porque habíamos tenido varios meses de relativa estabilidad. No voy a profundizar en las posibles causas de esta caída, baste con decir que tiene que ver con un conjunto de condiciones del entorno internacional, las que han afectado al mundo financiero y al mundo cripto.
Para muchos de nosotros HIVE es nuestra principal fuente de ingresos, por lo que una caída en el precio del token significa menores ingresos por recompensas y curación. Así que nos toca hacer ajustes en nuestros presupuestos, habrá que cancelar proyectos a corto y mediano plazo, suspender de momento toda compra no esencial. Y para muchos significará incluso llevar una dieta alimentaria más pobre.
No todos habrán tenido la posibilidad de prepararse para el tiempo de las “vacas flacas”, por lo que sería ingenuo pensar que esta baja no nos afecte en nuestras finanzas y en nuestro ánimo.
Sin embargo, cuando veo la dinámica de nuestra colmena, me doy cuenta que el impacto es más a nivel de las finanzas que en el ánimo.
A la mayoría de los hivers esta estrepitosa caída no les quita las ganas de continuar con sus actividades. Vemos como el ritmo de HIVE continúa imparable. La gente sigue publicando, sigue comentando. Continúa la actividad de promoción en las redes sociales. Siguen muy activos los diferentes programas de Discord donde la comunidad hace vida social.
En fin, que sin comparamos la proporción de la caída del HIVE con la caída de las interacciones que se producen en la Blockchain veremos que no hay mayor correspondencia, la actividad disminuye en una proporción muy pequeña en relación a la disminución de los ingresos de los hivers.
¿Significa esto que la gente no necesita los ingresos de HIVE? No, si lo necesitamos. Lo que veo en este comportamiento y en esta decisión de mantenernos activos, aún cuando nuestros ingresos hayan disminuido, es que para la mayoría de nosotros HIVE es mucho más que un sitio donde generar ingresos.
HIVE es una gran casa donde pasarla bien. Por eso nos gusta permanecer aquí aunque las recompensas nos obliguen a tener que ajustarnos el cinturón, e incluso a buscar alguna fuente de ingresos adicional para compensar lo que dejamos de percibir.
Y es que estar en HIVE hasta puede llegar a ser muy terapéutico.
Ante las dificultades del entorno analógico donde vivimos, que en algunos casos puede llegar a ser muy hostil, HIVE puede ser un verdadero oasis. Virtual, es verdad, pero oasis al fin. Para muchos hivers los mejores momentos de su día son los que pasan aquí, en nuestra querida colmena, eso lo sabemos por los temas que se dan a conocer en las diferentes publicaciones.
Hay hivers que está atravesando por serios conflictos personales y deciden publicar para deshacerse un poco del peso que los agobia y para sentir el acompañamiento de las personas que generosamente comenten sus publicaciones. Otros, publican porque eso les permite conseguir la motivación necesaria para mantenerse alejados del desánimo y del tedio. Y así, son muchos los motivos por los que la gente decide continuar publicando, comentando, interactuando, aunque caigan las recompensas.
Hay una cosa que los hivers tienen clara, que no es el valor del token lo que permite la permanencia de HIVE a futuro. Es nuestra actividad diaria, constante y sostenida, lo que garantiza que HIVE pueda seguir siendo nuestra casa. Mientras nos mantengamos activos podemos tener la seguridad que estamos construyendo la posibilidad de poder contar con este proyecto durante mucho tiempo.
No todos los sitios del mundo analógico o digital cuentan con comunidades tan sólidas como HIVE. No todos tienen personas dispuestas a ser fieles en los tiempos de dificultad.
Esa férrea voluntad de los hivers de continuar adelante, independientemente de las dificultades, es el mayor activo de nuestra colmena. Mientras continuemos con nuestras actividades HIVE se recuperará una y otra vez…

Not everyone will have had the chance to prepare for the "lean season", so it would be naïve to think that this downturn will not affect our finances and our mood.
However, when I look at the dynamics of our hive, I realize that the impact is more on finances than on morale.
For most hivers, this dramatic drop does not dampen their desire to continue their activities. We see how the pace of HIVE continues unstoppable. People continue to post, continue to comment. Promotional activity continues on the social networks. The different Discord programs where the community is socializing are still very active.
In short, if we compare the proportion of the fall of the HIVE with the fall of the interactions that occur on the Blockchain we will see that there is no major correspondence, the activity decreases in a very small proportion in relation to the decrease in the income of the hivers.
Does this mean that people don't need HIVE income? No, we do. What I see in this behavior and in this decision to stay active, even when our income has declined, is that for most of us HIVE is much more than a place to generate income.
HIVE is a great place to have a good time. That's why we like to stay here even if the rewards force us to tighten our belts, and even to look for some additional source of income to make up for what we miss out on.
Being in HIVE can even be very therapeutic.
Faced with the difficulties of the analog environment in which we live, which in some cases can be very hostile, HIVE can be a real oasis. Virtual, it is true, but an oasis nonetheless. For many hivers, the best moments of their day are the ones they spend here, in our beloved hive, as we know from the topics that are published in the different publications.
There are hivers who are going through serious personal conflicts and decide to publish to get rid of some of the weight that weighs them down and to feel the support of the people who generously comment on their publications. Others publish because it allows them to get the necessary motivation to stay away from discouragement and boredom. And so, there are many reasons why people decide to continue posting, commenting, interacting, even if the rewards fall.
There is one thing that the hivers are clear about, that it is not the value of the token that allows HIVE's permanence in the future. What guarantees that HIVE can continue to be our home is our activity. As long as we remain active, we can be sure that we are building the possibility of being able to count on this project for a long time.
Not all sites in the analog or digital world have communities as strong as HIVE. Not all of them have people willing to be faithful in times of difficulty.
That iron will of the hivers to carry on regardless of the difficulties is the greatest asset of our hive. As long as we continue our activities HIVE will bounce back again and again...
