If you have been creating content you probably already have understood some pros and cons for your monetization opportunities. I will cover briefly something that might help out live content creators mostly.

The Pain

Content creators that make videos for platforms such as YouTube have a massive perk of infinite royalties, something that live content cannot produce , well Hive bloggers also have this issues of only 7 day monetization periods which are somewhat mitigated with tipping. Seven days seems like a short time but it definitely is better than 1 second, because that's the issue with live content, when the moment is gone - it's gone.

Unless you produce videos from your live recorded content all of that goes to the void. This is where we start looking at something from the side, cause not everyone has the money or time to make videos and edit them.

A solution

There's a way for live content creators to monetize their content by incentivizing viewers to be active and use their phone to scan a code that gives both you and them a reward ( $0.03 per code to viewer and - $0.015 for you). The app is called Incent, you sign up, add the browser source to your broadcasting software, be it OBS, Xsplit or anything else. You reach $25 AUD worth of Incent and then withdraw to an exchange. The major drawback is the down trend for the AUD price for the token.
