Today I spent a lttle time crunching some numbers and comparing year-to-date yields of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the S&P 500, Russell 2000, Gold, Silver and the top 19 digital currency coins (not tokens) listed on coinmarketcap.com.

I have to say that this took time and effort. I accept donations:

The year-to-date period mentioned above refers to the specific time between the December 31, 2018, market close and October 31, 2019 market close. The source of the price data varies based on the coin.

DJIA 115.94% S&P 500 121.17 RUSSELL 2000 101.75 Gold 118.22 Silver 116.25 BTC 247.75 ETH 139.38 XRP -15.44 BCH 189.39 LTC 195.65 EOS 124.36 BNB 326.64 XLM -42.79 TRX 106.18 ADA 100.46 XMR 128.82 XTZ 197.80 NEO 142.47 MIOTA -21.92 DASH -7.29 ETC -4.12 XEM -35.89 DOGE 114.04 VET 108.03

*ATOM has no full YTD info.

I didn't proof the numbers. Feel free to do so. I ran the numbers in order to get an idea how they all compared. As you can see, BNB has a whopping 326.64% YTD. With BNB being an exchange coin and also the platform geofencing so many of its once upon a time customers I curious whether that number with be as high next year.

I hope you enjoyed the effort. Remember that I accept donations and appreciate everything.

Have a great day.
