Unless you have been living under a rock you already know that most Hive users will be included in the upcoming airdrop season that will be taking place around Chrismas. How to prepare? What to hold, what to buy, and what to sell?

So Many Alpha Leaks

Ever since Dan announced that game he has been working on I was snooping around to see what we can expect. Thanks to this 3speak video I now know that this thing will be insanely good. Yearly tournaments, dynamic PVP mechanics, in-game economy... If it turns out to be half as good as I am expecting it to be, it will still be a hit within the community so I'm stacking my Hive stack as much as I can.

Watching the latest AMA livestream got me thinking about Polycub as well. Cub holders that got in since day one got hurt by the downside pressure but those days seem to be over. As the launch comes closer every day I expect Cub to rise in price so on top of stacking Hive I now need to stack Cub as well. Polygon is a wild place and if Polycub catches the attention of all farmers over there we might be in for a pleasant surprise.

3speak token drop is still the biggest subject in town. I'm personally interested in getting as many of those as possible via airdrop without any intention of selling. I have seen the reactions of Hive virgins on Twitter when they actually realized how 3speak operates and which problems it could solve for a lot of us. For this one, you need as much Hive power as possible before the airdrop on January 6th.

On top of this stack sits Splinterlands with more than half a year of SPS rewards to go. Packs, cards, DEC... Whatever you own in the Splinterlands world gives you more SPS rewards on a daily basis.

To recap, if you want free money this Christmas you need to hold as many Hive ecosystem coins as possible. So what should one do in this situation?

The Only Way Out Is All In

Even though I wasn't actively involved in the community from the beginning I observed the price movements and wealth distribution from time to time. Out of all the promising tech and "active communities" out there this one is the only one with organic growth and an actual community behind it. This is why I will be making some big portfolio changes in December.

Since Hive is too valuable to be sold any time soon I will keep accumulating my HP and converting some earnings into the Hive/Matic pool on Beeswap. A few days before the snapshots take place and if LPs on Beeswap don't get included I will be moving everything to Keychain. On the other hand, Leo is severely undervalued so I will just keep accumulating it indefinitely.

Since I am ditching Avalanche completely all of that liquidity will be going to the Cub kingdoms pool in anticipation of the upcoming Polycub airdrop. Keep earning Hive and keep stacking Cub.

Chaos Legion sale ends in about 4 days and I'm expecting cheaper packs to hit the market. Any excess liquidity will be invested in packs because I see a lot of long-term potential in them. This is the first expansion where Splinterlands actually achieved mainstream popularity and it would probably be good to be a part of it.

Quick Recap

If you bring liquidity into the Hive ecosystem you get so many opportunities to turn it into profit. Example:

  • Pool Hive/Matic on Beeswap for 500% APR

  • Stake rewards in the BXT staking pool and earn 140%+ APR in Hive

  • Accumulate for one Month and become eligible for at least two airdrops

  • Invest some profit in Chaos Legion packs, score a few good cards, and rent them for passive income

  • Spend some free time engaging with the community and get rewarded in many different ways for your contribution.

If this is not the definition of a blue-chip project I don't know what is.
