There is word on the street that Arbitrum is about to drop some free tokens to early adopters. This is all based on rumors but even if they are not true the token will have to come sooner or later and there is no need to miss out.

Bridging ETH To Arbitrum

The very first thing you will need to do is bridge some ETH over to Arbitrum since gas fees are paid in Ethereum. To do that you can use the Arbitrum bridge or simply uze the Zapper brige option and if will find a suitable bridge for you.

The easiest way to get over there from Hive is through pLEO.

Convert Hive into Leo -> Wrap Leo into pLEO on Matic -> Swap pLEO for WETH -> Bridge WETH over to Arbitrum.

Gas fees on Arbitrum can vary between $0.5 and $1 per transaction so plan accordingly.

Interact With Protocols

Arbitrum doesn't have that many protocols you can interact with but there are a few familiar names you will find over there. If you don't want to try some new and exotic protocols then simply start with AAVE.

AAVE is a lending protocol that currently operates on six different blockchains, including Arbitrum.

If you need decentralized exchanges, both Uniswap and Sushiswap are available on Arbitrum. *Maybe consider making a few swaps if on-chain activity becomes a requirement for the airdrop.

In case you go looking for some NFTs I think that tofuNFT is currently the only NFT marketplace available.

Traders can try out GMX, a decentralized perpetual exchange that lets you trade AVAX, BTC and ETH with up to 30x margin.

And in case you are worried about liquidations and margin calls, Tracer DAO has launched an interesting and innovative platform called Tracer.
