I am a bit late on this project but it's better late than never I guess. In short, this will be a series where you can try and snatch some airdrops while putting no capital at risk. For a whole week, I will be sharing protocols that have an incentivized testnet event going on and most of them will most likely reward early users. Let's start with Shell Protocol

Step 1 - Set Up Metamask

NAME : RinkArby RPC URL: https://rinkeby.arbitrum.io/rpc ID : 421611 CURRENCY : RinkebyETH

Step 2 - Aquire Rinkeby ETH

The Rinkeby Faucet usually works fine but be prepared for errors and outages. If you check back consistently you should get some free testnet ETH in a few tries. Creating an Alchemy account will be required.

There are other faucets but most of them are broken beyond repair.

Step 3 - Bridge Rinkeby ETH To Arbitrum Testnet

The Arbitrum bridge is very easy to navigate. Once you get ETH on Rinkeby simply bridge it over to the Arbitrum testnet using the link above. The bridging process usually takes about 15 minutes.

Step 4 - Interact With Shell Protocol

Once everything is done the only thing left is to start using the protocol. Start by clicking on the Faucet option and claiming all of the available currencies.

Swap DAI for shDAI, USDT for shUSDT, and so on.

This should start giving you Shell Points which you can track in real-time on the Dapp by clicking on "Shell Points".

More info on the protocol and social links can be found on their Twitter page.

P.S. If the faucet keeps failing and breaking leave a comment below and I'll send you a small amount of Arbi testnet ETH so you can interact with the protocol.

EDIT

It has been confirmed by the Shell team that there will be no airdrop for this phase of testing but I still encourage you to get started with testnets. This is just one of many opportunities out there.
