More Free Money For Cosmos and ETH Users - Evmos Claimdrop Step By Step Guide.
If you have been using Uniswap, AAVE or almost any other mainstream Dapp on ETH you should be eligible for this one. The same goes for Cosmos users. Don't get your hopes high because it is a few hundred bucks on average but power users can get drops up to a thousand or two.
Here is how you can check your eligibility and claim your drop.
Check Eligibility
This one should be very easy to claim because there is no bridging involved. As already mentioned, AAVE, Compound, Uniswap, Sushiswap and many other Dapp users will be eligible for this one. You can find all relevant info in this post but if you have no time for that simply go to the Evmos mission control page, connect your wallet and you will know exactly how many tokens you got from the drop.
Claiming The Tokens
If you are eligible you will need to complete the following tasks to get your tokens. Before you can start you will need to add Evmos to your Metamask wallet. To do this in one click go to Chainlist and find Evmos using the search option.
Connect your wallet and add the network.
To complete the first one click on teh "Vote" button and vote on four different governance proposals. Most of them are there for testing purposes so some votes that you cast may result in an error. If that happens try a different choice (If voting NO results in an error try other options until successful).
The second requirement is staking which is easy to complete. If you voted successfully your wallet will have some EVMOS tokens already so you will now have enough to pay for gas fees. Click on "STAKE" and select any validator from the list. Delegate exactly 0.001 EVMOS to them and the step should be completed.
The last step you can complete right now is using the EVM. This can be done by using Diffusion and performing a swap. Any amount will suffice. Diffusion is the only AMM on the chain right now (to my knowledge) and they also dropped some tokens for UNI holders. When you are there be sure to check if you got some of these as well.
Right now EVMOS is trading at about $4 per token with over 2M eligible airdrop addresses.
