New Milestone: 1000 HBD savings reached

Barely a week after hitting 1k HP here on hive, I feel so excited to hit yet another goal with the HBD savings. Just like yesterday when I began saving in the HBD due to it's awesome APR, hedge against inflation and the falling Naira, It's been a really great decision so far.

It hasn't been easy one but due to me cutting down my expenses drastically and remaining consistent content creation here on Hive this past few months, it has made this possible. What I have come to learn about this target is that it made me to show up here on hive daily.

1k HBD might not be so much to some but in my country it is quite a decent amount. When converted to the Naira it a little above half of million @650,000 Naira with rate currently at 650/$. Considering the rate the Naira has falling since the year began it also mean I could get more Naira if you chose to convert it.

The goal is to have atleast 2k HBD in savings before the year comes to an end. With barely five months left to go, I trust I will be hitting my year goal. It worthy to note that my current monthly interest sits close to 15hbd as at late payment which is a decent amount for a passive income. I intend to move it up much further to 10k HBD in the next couple of years.
